We have open class which is a 460 or 560 with 301. Anything like Moline with irrigation motors or 560 with d466 or RD engines go to Non turbo class. they get split up.
1 We have 3mph 15.5 uncut class
2 Then 6mph any cut up to 18.4
3 Then open with 18.4 and basically stock replacement engine
4 Then the Non turbo this class is big cube up to 800 cid according to interstate rules

it mounts on top of stands for stock starter location. some clutches we add adjustable stand in place of solid. If you are going to run the 7.3 starter I will save you a lot of aggravation and tell you when you wire it up you need an extra solenoid for the starter. Floyd Isbell 570 637 1311

The class here is called Non turbo we run 5500 to 7000 lbs. There are many of these engines pulling across the US. I send parts to many states.
They are commonly used in 460 and 560 chassis. We sell all the parts to make them run. If you were to ride one down the track sometime I think you would be pretty impressed with the horse power they make. website the m has a 501 in it

We have a honey comb valve spring we run. I cant tell you the pressure open or closed at the moment. I will have to look them up and get back. lift on the valve was in the hi

We are building billet camshafts for the RD 450 and 501 ih gas motors as you can see from the picture there is a week spot in the cam that causes the nose to break off.
If you are intending to put any amount of spring pressure on your valves you will be needing this eventually. To order your cam blank for this winter call.

we have what you need also. this cover is built completely by atlas. The big difference on most clutches between builders are the added goodies and type of disc. like adjustable stands. just to give you a few other upgrades to consider is the billet cross shaft, release fork and carrier. pretty much most of the builders will have dependable set up. 570 637 1311 Floyd Isbell

You can coat the tops with ceramic but as long as you don't run it hot without adding enough water the stock pistons will run you for years,.
running out of time and bad injectors will cause problems but that is with either piston. Billet doesn't mean better....

with a 3x3 charger we had a combination for dt 466 engine with dt 436 pistons cut off the top cut out the bowl cut valve reliefs and back to 16:1 ratio. found it to be super strong set up. If you start to get any bigger with the turbo you will need to decompress more. had a 13mm P pump 5 hole .028 injectors and also found going back to the .093 injector lines helped. we ran water 20 oz. in 15

you can make a 7 speed transmission so you can run gears that fit your hp and have another set that are ready to run when you build the big one for a little over a thousand more. saves tearing into it later. just an option for you to consider when your ready.

there is a plug in the bottom of your mcv plate put a gauge on and check your pressure to see if your pumps is making any. now even if the pump is bad the tractor should go because there is a mechanical sprag in the TA that drives the tractor when a shift from low to hi is made. good pressure should be like 275lbs as I remember. Been a while , I've done a ton of them. up in the top there i

there is a ton of things to look for. did you set your fuel on the pump? you may simply need to turn in the screw, but how is the fuel when you run? what is you timing at?
how does it start? what is the compression ratio? what size injector lines? do you have water to cool it and is it electric or boost pressure on a canister that syphon in when it's running? is your turbo big and not turn

you need better hold downs for the injector. if you have the 5/16' bolts in there from stock. drill your holes out and tap them to 3/8" your miss you hear sounds like the injector is leaking. that's why you see fuel blowing up around the outside. just a possibility i'm not there to see it but something to check.

do you have an A pump? got one here does the same thing. have to keep the fuel shut off out even when it's at a idle. have to keep rpms up or it with load up. I think this one even though the pump just got rebuilt, it may have issues. they said the governors have a lot to do with it at low idle over fueling. we originally thought it had an odd fire cam in the pump but was just over fueling.

The four speed top cover has a spring lock to hold the gears. It is very common for the spring to fall of and then you may really have two gears meshing at one time. if when you shift the 1 2 3 4 handle and it shifts easy and you don't feel the detent snap in, then that could be the problem. The fork doesn't usually get bent, they crack and then you have trouble getting it in g

keep in mind the rear you choose is only a housing the gears in it are made similar in all. The gears in a 706 and up are wider and also they can offer up to 7 gears and a 560 can do about 3 gears. There are a lot of the 560 chassis out there, but the Ta has to go then you need a faster constant mesh gear set. next fourth gear is narrow and will jump out, so to do it right an input shaft, fast
