do the 301's have just 2 rows of head bolts like a 263 or 291? not real familiar with them. but i bet if a guy were to use some plastic gasket or large diameter red loctite on the factory head gasket, it would hold. just make sure you get and keep both surfaces absolutely clean and dry. 1 container which you can get at your local case ih dealer or napa, or whatever, will do this job multiple

I've been reading the posts concerning edson, and have read many others that end up the same way. Starts as a simple question, and then blows out of proportion. Then Jake posts saying you need to put your name, and email if your gonna talk crap. I agree. I may only a 24 year old farm kid from Iowa with a 3000 rpm tractor. So I probably don't mean jack squat to anyone in the pulling worl

a 966 has same axle size as a 706. a 1066 has a axle size of its own. thats a way to tell the difference also. a 966 has a taller ring and pinion than a 1066. the 966 came out with 34 inch tires 13/49 ring and pinion, where as 1066 had 38 inch 13/51 ring and pinion which is 4% slower.putting a charger on a NA motor in farm application runs pretty well. pulling not sure how it would do. just my 2

guys who cheat are PATHETIC...they don't wanna spend the time and do some research, on how...they can build a tractor that will run strong and will make respectable passes down the track (money can't buy everything) sometimes its the little tricks you learn from experimentation. the best part of pulling i think, besides building the tractor. is coming out of the hole, when the front end

all i can contribute is that intake should never be higher than exhaust. otherwise like my tractor does, you will chirp out(stall your turbo). in my situation, my cam is not ground properly.

why not just show up and have some fun? thats what basically everyone does. show up, put on a show for the fans, b.s., swap some ideas stories etc..have a beer or two afterwards. it isn't to hard to get certified before a pull.
