Put a three speed in your 4010 rear end. I ran a Super farm for many years with that rear end. I knew a few guys that ran a 4010 rear end in Super Stock [ Country Dear ] and Pro stock [ Scoundrel ].

Wow, Never said component chassis ruined tractor pulling !!!! You missed my whole point !!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you don't like the Ag chassis rule, find a different class to run. If your so Hell bent on Component chassis, then build a tractor to run in those classes that allow them or start your own class !!!!!!!!!! Why ruin something that has worked for years. If they allow components in LLSS I w

No components should not be allowed. That's the whole problem with tractor pulling, every-time a good class is started someone has to come up with a way to destroy it. Take Pro Stock tractors for instant, was designed to be a entry level class. Look what it has evolved into, the most expensive Ag tractor class around. Take Light Super Stock, it was suppose to be a cheaper alternative to the

make sure you get a drag racing seat. they come in 10 degree lay back and i think 20 degree lay back. I like the 10 degree. then you need to know how wide, 14.5", 15.5 ", 16.5", or 17.5"wide. The best thing you can do is look at the different seats and try setting in them. Get one that feels right to you.

Monte McCoy, Jeremy Smith, Chris France and Bryan Deppen are working on their engines. The Pro Stock tractors that run with OSTPA have a tendency to show better numbers half way through the season. Pro Stock tractors have a short life span on their engines. As for Schmuckers, I hope they can put that unfortunate experience behind them someday and pull again with OSTPA.

I have a 7.8L 474 cu. in. Ford Diesel engine ready for assembly. All machine work is done. Have all new bearings and piston rings. Pistons have been cut for valve relief and coat by Swain Technology. Rods have been resized and new ARP bolts. Also have the stock head off this engine. Work great for a LLSS or Hot farm set up. E-mail me if anyone interested. pullmx@

This whole is crazy. What makes the difference in today's pulling world ? Build it to the correct CU. IN. for the class your going to run and lets go Pulling. You will find the winners won't change. Those willing to do the research will still be on top. If you choose to stay brand loyal so be it !!!

I'm in need of a enclosed trailer. Thinking of using my 2013 F250 Super Duty Diesel to pull it. Noticed on Racing Junk of a new 42ft Goose neck trailers in Douglas Ga. that can be bought for about $17K. Got a price on a Millennium Trailer out of Indianapolis, In. 23K and United Trailer were $32K. Has anyone ever used a trailer from any of these places? Any help would be great.

The John Deere 7820 / 8330 Fenders are still availible from John Deere. Last i checked they were around $400 new. The 7820-30 / 8330 fenders have that hump you call it. The 7800 fenders are more of a flat fender.

The purse will be all over the board from $100 to $500 to win. Maybe more a a very large pull. If your building a tractor based on what money you will win, you better rethink building. $45,000 to build a LLSS and win $300 + or $200,000 + to build a Deisel SS and win $800 + . It's all in how much money you want to spend to scratch your itch. Build a tractor, go have fun and if you win that bi

If you put a straight through box with reverser, your ratio on a Ford 4000 would be 15.75 to 1. Have heard of guys running a Ford 5000 ring and pinion 5.26 to 1 which would give you 23.67 to 1. Only bad thing is the gear set runs on back side of teeth. Was told a Ford 4000 with a Pro Fab or SCS gear box would handle 1800 HP . Not really sure if this is true or not.
