Pro Fab and SCS don't put the transmission in your housing. You have to cut and grind to mount it. Takes alot of time to figure out and make it work.

In the past i have used a carriage bolt head and a push button switch. Drill a hole in your shift linkage [ some where out off the way of driver ] and put your bolt in, then mount switch so it only makes contact when in neutral.

Build a fixture to do it your self. Take two pieces of plate steel 3/8" thick that are a inch or so wider than head gasket, then drill two 1/4 ' holes on each side close to the edge. bore your 5.360 hole in both plate where it locates over gasket bore. And like HotRod said build you a round circle with the 5.350 O.D. and sharpen it to a cutting edge. Put fixture over head gasket and locate t

Talked to Richwine last month about Stroud safety 4.1 tractor blanket. He said i could use the 4.1 blanket from Stroud as long as it was 17" wide and had the 6" over lap. The blanket must have 6 straps and front and rear straps which Stroud 4.1 bullistic does. Hope this helps. If want to know more just call Larry Richwine and get the info first hand.

Hey Angusfarmer, i have a NEW set of J&E 4 7/8" pistons that have a custom bowl in them to run with a cast head with out combustion chamber. I was going to use them in a gas or alcohol engine i was building. They are for sale and @ a great price. These pistons would work in any brand engine. The stock differential has brass bushings in gears. Should be fine for what you are doing. If you want to needle the diff pin, just have a machine shop grind the stock pin .065 smaller where gear runs and tap out the brass bushings in gears. Then buy some .125 x 1" needles and assemble. Just did mine and worked out great.

The longer line might slow down the delivery time but advance the pump anouther degree or two should over come this problem. Just make sure all lines are the same lenght. Should be good to go.

Go with Electromotive ignition. Don't need a distributer. The system uses a crank pickup and individual coil packs. Cost less also.

I have used your site in many ways, information, buy parts, sell parts, look for a builder, up coming events and even entertainment. You will always have people who are never happy or satisfied. But i am very glad you have dedicated your time and resource to your web site. Pulloff.com is one of the best

John Deere 466 / 7.6L / 8.1L engines don't have factory roller lifters. Any engine builder can install them for you. I ran Super Farm for two years with factory stock flat lifters and had no problems. Roller lifters are better if they fit in your budget. Remember if you go roller you will have to run billit camshaft.

I think i used Dot 5 brake fluid in my Wilwood master cylinders on my 4010. Don't put Hydraulic oil in your master cylinders. Been There, swelled the o-rings in master cylinders. They do make o-ring that are resistaint to brake fluid. Check on McMaster-Carr web sight. Or you could put a stock o-ring in a bowl of brake fluid for a few weeks and see what happens to the o-ring. Might try Dot 5

I have just what you need, 1992 IH Dt 466 truck block with steel hemi style main caps. Block has been line bored and ready to machine for your sleeve size. The block is a low mileage block and never used for pulling yet. The block is a roller lifter block. This is way better than those steel spacers and girdle !!!! You can check any main bearing without taking the girdle down !!!! If interested e
