Outlaws starts their weekly pulling series on NBC Sports this Thursday at 2:00 central time. The first 6 episodes are from the Western Farm Show. The next 8 are from Ravenna, NE and the last 12 of 2015 are from Rock Valley, IA. The first 13 weeks of 2016 will be from Wisner, NE. That is a total of 39 weeks straight (3/4 of a year). The pull tonight at the Montgomery County Fair in Montgomery City, Mo is a go. Very little rain this morning and started working track 2 hours ago. Last nights pull was great with about 100 hooks on two tracks. 7 classes total featuring X-Caliber 8500 - 466 class along with 6 Outlaw classes. Limited Pro Stock Tractors, Pro Stock Tractors, Multi engine Modified Tractors, Pro Stock 4x4 Trucks, whee

Glad you asked this Question. Outlaws will be on NBC Sports with a weekly program starting on Thursday, July 30th at 3:00 pm Eastern Time Zone. All the TV program contracts are sent to me in Eastern Time Zone and in our area it will be 2:00 Central Time. After seeing your question I looked on Direct TV (channel 220) which is High Definition NBC Sports as that is what I have. It has it listed as "

Good question. Rodney Davison at Diesel Performance Engineering in Savannah, MO that received all the Northwest Fuel will be handling that and Leon Hellenbush with Xcaliber will be handling that. I think the plans are to get a VP Racing truck to drop off at both places next week. With all our classes at Rock Valley this was best choice for Outlaws. Thanks, Doug

The Outlaw "Thunder on the Hill" pull at Falls City, NE at the Jaycees Fairgrounds has been canceled. Had another 1 1/2 inches of rain about 2 hours ago and that makes 3 1/2 since last night and not enough dry spectator parking. We will look at rescheduling if can find a date that works. The pull on Saturday at Arlington is still a go at this point. Thanks, Doug

The pull at the US 36 Raceway in Cameron, MO has been cancelled. The big rain yesterday morning and then again this morning has about 2 feet of water standing in infield. Possible reschedule for Friday, July 31st with these three classes as part of the Winfield, KS (Thursday) and Sweet Springs (Saturday) sweep. D4X4 Trucks, LLP Tractors & PS Tractors. No use getting on here and starting rumors without at least calling first. This is a new company and the biggest problem was the late order forms coming in especially with Xcaliber as many members did not get order form till after deadline. That has delayed everything as we could not get an amount to make it all in one batch. Still getting in orders last week. The fuel has been made and we made q

Thanks for the positive comments on the new website. Our new marketing agency built that for us and are doing a good job of updating it whenever I send them something. We had a lot of request for a printable schedule and just put that up. It is still tentative but about 95 percent complete on events but still some work left on classes at events. Pro Stocks are at Greenfield and most likely will e

This is just a reminder about the 2015 Outlaw Fuel & Water Program. Today is the deadline for fuel & water forms, but I am going to be busy and out of town till Thursday. So if you have not got your order in need to do so by this Saturday because I need to let them know the quantities Monday morning at the latest. The letter and order form is on the Outlaw website. Friday I will be in Kansas City

New revised schedule. Emporia, KS called and said they didn't think they could afford an Outlaw pull this year and were staying with I believe the Flint Hill Pullers. Also there are a few typo's and wrong classes on the schedule. I do a lot of coping and pasting when I add new events and sometimes miss changing classes and such. Bear with me and I will get it right. Anyway Eagle pull on

Like to have more smoke at Whitewright, but the class you mentioned is booked on that same weekend in David City, NE & Gibbon, NE. Outlaws is fortunate to have 14 classes and can have multiple pulls the same day in different parts of the Midwest. One thing I will not do though is have the same class at two different locations on the same day. Not fair to either promoter and we have tried, but not

Took about 5 or 6 weeks off of working on schedule while busy with Western Farm Show Championship Pull. Back on it again this week and this is the latest as of today. A race track owner that has 3 race tracks in Oklahoma that race every weekend on Friday, Saturday & Sunday wants to try a pull one weekend at each track. The Claremore, OK event fell through so we will try it on that weekend of June

When we made the rules for this class it was all about not making the same mistakes the Pro Stock Tractor class had made. Mainly rules for cost, breakage and fair competition that would lead to a healthier class and keep good numbers in the class for our promoters and fans. We knew the big bore center tractors like the big block John Deere and Case could be a problem with fair competition and was

Rick, last year when I found out through the sled operator that we were on top of the Dream Factory pull in Sedalia I didn't want to be the bad guy and cancelled it. Never could find a date to reschedule it. Same as this year we have a pull in Cameron the day before and Marshall is far enough away from Cameron not to be drawing the same fans. We like to give our competitors at least 2 hooks

I had some calls about the “Parkes Puller” tire and its future with Outlaws. I actually started getting calls last year from Outlaw competitors wanting to run this tire. NTPA, PPL and Outlaws approved this tire last year as it met all the tire rules that NTPA has had in the rule book for years. My answer has been it is legal in all Outlaw classes that allow the HP pulling tire. The biggest miscon

Our new website is all but done and supposes to be up by Wednesday and have our new schedule on it. The outlaw schedule is about complete and there may be a few classes that might move around in the next week or so. There are 3 new pulls that might be added to these dates of July 24 & 25 to

Just want to thank everyone that helped with the 2015 Western Farm Show Championship Pull. The track crew again did an excellent job as on Friday night as we hooked 71 vehicles to the sled and was done by 11:15 for an average of one vehicle every 4 ½ minutes. Take away the 50 minutes spent on the trophy presentation for 5 classes and we averaged one hook every 3 ½ minutes. That is a great average

This year at Kansas City it will be an Ironman Sled. I will take any of them, green, red or purple. With Kevin being the operator he will probably use his red sled that we see all year outdoors. This will be our 5th year at Kansas City and things are finally going in the right direction after the bad weather in 2013. We have used an X-Factor Sled the first 4 years and Brandon did a good job for u

Thanks for the kind words and glad you like are TV shows, but its our great pullers and promoters that make Outlaw what it is. We have a lot of great people from tech, entry, announcers, film crew, etc. that makes it happen. Its a lot of work to keep it all together. Thanks, Doug

Don’t know about it being a Roberts rule, but that is when it came about when I pulled. When I built the first alcohol power “Barnyard Beast” with John Deere 4560 sheet metal we used 4010 cast rear end. We had used that rear end in the 5,500 Super Stock class as a diesel and never dreamed we wouldn’t have enough front end weight in the 8000 lb Super Stock class, but we didn’t. The faster you turn

We are working on new rule book and it’s 100% my fault Outlaws hasn’t had one the last 3 years. Sometimes not enough time to get everything done. Every year after the banquet when new rules are made I send out newsletter to all Outlaw members with rule changes and other info. So Outlaw members know the rules and changes. When someone calls or emails about rules I just give them the name of the cl

If you want an extra WFS jacket besides the one the driver gets, just fax your order in by Wednesday. That is the deadline for me to order the jackets with all the different sizes. This is the only immediate deadline. You can
