Re: CAMPING AT TOMAH - 6 years ago
That's what I keep saying, it isn't cheap to put on a pull of this caliber. If you look at Hillsboro, they end up donating several thousand dollars when it's all set and done. If you are going to do the same logic as Mark, he should be donating hundred of thousands of dollars. It's not cheap folks.by Brent Yaron - Forum
Re: CAMPING AT TOMAH - 6 years ago
Well it's roughly $175,000 in purse money. Also, admissions are $24.00 a session, $44.00 for all day pass, and $110 for all sessions pass. The live streaming, tv rights, and merchandise goes to the NTPA not to any of the Tomah/Monroe Country chapters that help put on the show. Also, the board is the one that helps renovate, maintain the track, and keep updating the facility. That is where thby Brent Yaron - Forum
Re: CAMPING AT TOMAH - 6 years ago
It looks like it went up $30 on the advanced pricing and $20 on the price after the new year. I like that they took out Sunday's pull, it will add more action to the other sessions and shorten wait time between pulls. It worked really well in Bowling Green this year. That means we can get up and leave Sunday morning for those traveling long distances. Back to the price increase though I do uby Brent Yaron - Forum

Re: Tomah 2018 - 6 years ago
To regards for pulling till 3 in the morning, that was caused by a 2 and a half hour rain delay and a tractor having extreme breakage. Otherwise, it would have ended around midnight. I was there the entire time too. Anyways, I think this is a wonderful change. A lot of pullers have left Sunday session because they have a long trip back home. I wish I could attend this pull, it's been on the bucket list for the last couple years now. Unfortunately, I have other obligations that weekend every year that prevents me from attending. One of these years I will be there. Best of luck to you and hope for the best show yet! Who knows, maybe someone will live stream it and I will be able to enjoy it afterwards!by Brent Yaron - Forum
Re: No extra cubes for Diesel LSS! (WISCONSIN LSS ?) - 6 years ago
I agree 100%. I watch the Wisconsin LSS class run several times throughout the season and they seem to keep pushing their tractors harder and harder. Now you have the Spiegleberg's making the jump from the LLSS class to the LSS class and they have made tremendous progress throughout the season, and now because Lynn declines his invite to the Enderle, they will have their tractor their. Re: Bowling Green growing? - 6 years ago
I would love to see the Light Pro class added. I thought it was a great addition to Tomah this year, and I hope next year they give them two hooks over the course of the weekend instead of one. It's a fun class to watch as it is always competitive.by Brent Yaron - Forum

I'm sure Playin' With Fire will make the trip. Only reason they missed Rockwell was due to motor problems that needed attention. I would expect roughly 12-15 semi's. Hopefully they prove me wrong and there are more.by Brent Yaron - Forum
