GALOT Motorsports Park is saddened to announce that the No Bull Truck & Tractor Pull is canceled for this year. With all the uncertainty with the COVID-19 pandemic, we feel that the scheduled date of our pull is too close to the restriction dates th

OK. I'm picking up what you guys are saying.
The stepping up part could apply to all, but in this sense the differences between any single charger tractor and Pro Stock are significant, but no more so than say 25 years ago when the single charger classes were a feeder to SS, yet guys would still jump up and try.
I didn't read it, shame on me, but I assume the charger minimums are

If the tractor looks good, runs hard, spins out at the end, but is 25' back of first place, but ahead of some "full PS" machines for one reason or another (because any class that highly strung will have some that just don't make a good hook), how does it take from the show's quality?
I disagree that it does so I'd like to further the conversation by understanding what or ho

Hold on... Class jumping in the tractor ranks and getting that taste of the bigger stage is what made this sport and provides that "transitional" aspect of competing that is argued and discussed with frequency. A competitor may not be able to make the leap from 4.1 to PS in one shot, but if one can incrementally come into it the same way the Legends of the class did 30 years ago, why on earth w

Talk to your sled operators. Some may be able to provide event coverage through their own policy and you won't have to break the bank to do it.

Mine is very, very simple. I LOVE SS. It's the OG class. These days, there just aren't that many of them left and I DO want to go see 20 or more of them at a hook. If the class runs together, I might see 20 instead of 8... That's it. I don't really care how much adjustment it takes or who ultimately wins. I just want multiple chargers, both fuels, 30.5 tires and all of

That and what I gather is SXS is a concern if the tractor gets out of shape to the side, they can contact the tube. Stacked keeps them more on center and away from the sides of the hose should the tractor swing off to one side.

Geography seems to have a lot to do with it. Down south, most are on 30.5s and it works. Here in MI and out in NY, 24.5 P2000 or Pro Pullers seem to work better. It's just what the tracks in your area are going to want.

I believe the DSS tractors had a limit imposed on pipe diameter at some point in the last 5 years at NFMS. It would seem that it is a problem, yes.

There are a number of Pros running wheel weights and they are hub mounted on bearings so you don't have to rotate them with the tire. I am uncertain who is producing these, but I suspect either Lemkes or Engler would be a good place to start for guidance.

^^^ This is correct. BTW, G-trim is 4.365 out of the exducer, not 4.5.
