Moderators, let that stand.
Since you have chosen to attack me and not the idea, I presume you are another that wants a 3.1415 turbo, 557ci on odd numbered Tuesday 7psi in the left tire, mandatory 45deg full cut right tire guy. I'll double down on what I said.
You cannot grow this sport by fragmenting it or watering it down (where those things you mentioned live). How many guys regre

Go for it. By the time you're cognizant of it and react, it'll be too late and I'd argue this "feedback" system will never beat an experienced puller with a good natural feel, much less a defacto system.

OK. Let's accept your premise. How are you going to keep 2, 3 or even 6, individual chargers lit down track while waiting out the extra duration in between impulses on the turbine? Especially if you are merging the intakes across them all. I don't see that working against a single unit getting 6 pulses to drive it under load. Ever.

Exactly. How many limited-charger-make-rules-just-for-me classes do you want?

At the risk of boring the crap out of people, insurance companies rely upon actuarial tables to set a risk. It's a statistical model. Based on the number of runs vs a payout for a pulling tire on the loose, I reckon they want to keep making money on premiums given no one (that I can recall) has been hurt by a loose tire (limited to pulling, I am aware of drag racing & circle track incident

I'm intrigued by the advancement in designs and see them as ultimately a chassis saver. Meanwhile, someone else is looking to kick you ass somewhere else. When is this fight going to start?

You sure seem to know who I am. Funny how this works. Excalibur thread blah blah, blah... You want to dunk on us from the pulpit, YOU do the homework. 2nd sentence. Why is it expected? No conflict and some SERIOUSLY competitive teams who want to prove that they're the King Daddy. Same as it ever was back to when BG ran under various sanctions. Oh, and avoid the northside or campgrou

I didn't say anything personal about whoever you are except that you seem to be hunting for negatives. If you are so bothered by the cheers, then "why?" do you see it as "hilarious" if they get lower numbers?
Next time you want to be sanctimonious, don't start by putting your foot in your mouth on the way to the pulpit.

The spectacle on the tracks has nothing to do with the spectacle in the stands and its legacy is untarnished by it. Should you continue with such a negative attitude vis-a-vis motorsports, I'll suggest you avoid the BG campgrounds, the infield at Talladega, The Zoo at Heartland Park Topeka, most NFL tailgates, Thr Kentucky Derby Infield, etc.
You can find what you want at BG and it seems

I have no problem with the Hooked Broke rule. It's a traditional points rule that protects against the "I just don't feel like it." Things like this, and getting laps in after a wreck for points, used to really matter and the efgort was appreciated. It doesn't seem to be anymore and that's too bad.

That's fair. I reckon I took exception to the specific phrase of "apparent caravan of pulling buddies." It implied and/or implicated an aspersion I didn't care for. If I am biased, so be it. I find Ed's efforts beyond reproach and will defend him without his asking. Just where I sit.

Ed worked his ass off for that promotion and, like most guys who try to, wound up with not much beyond clowns lining up to knock him like you and a lighter wallet. He's happily backing the 2 Canadian events and the home hooks at Armada, but otherwise enjoying his well-deserved retirement.

I'd love to hear an insult-free discussion of what has changed/been learned about radial construction/operation that now makes it a desired alternative over bias-ply. I have no horse in the race, I just want to be smarter in my commentary.
