It's simple really, apply some common sense to it, and look at the graph as to where the "spike" happened. Keeps happening, competitor simply needs to lower his hi idle rpm setting.

We compared photo-tach readings to the box. Photo was 2999 on mine, and box no load was 3055 or so. I think the box picks up the surging spikes better than the photo. Now, when hooked to the sled, and going down the track, my peak reading was only about 2900. Over is over. What happens if you just touch the chalk?? Rules are rules.

Simply put, a 3LM466 is a 3LM466, Borg Warner part number 193876, and is made with a 2.312" inlet. Anything other than that is a custom made/modified turbo.

3LM466 or S2E. Direct bolt on, and a lot better than stock. Kind of dinosaurs by modern technology for pulling, but for a farm tractor still great turbos.

even more funny is someone thinking they need 1000cc for a farm stock /brush pull class? It seems the Wimer 12mm are capable of north of 600, which is a lot of fuel.

Just because the limit on turbo is 3" doesn't mean it will run better with one that big. You have a combination that is out of whack. Maybe an S300 2.6" would work better.

White 160/185, 170/195 all had A pumps, Magnum 71(2)10-71(2)30 also A pumps, 7140 MW. 7150/7250 Denso EP9. 89 series also still had bosch pumps. The CAPS pump uses the p pump mounting pattern.

It isn’t the engine that the famous B series is. But part of it, I believe is lack of hi-performance parts. That being said, I would imagine the guys out at Scheid or Haisley would still be able to help you get one running pretty well. I do believe that their heads don’t flow as much and their fuel delivery system sucks if you go with what came on them from the factory. I thin

Jerry Dollen - Pain In the Allis
See if that link works. If not go to mattpa.com or look them up on Facebook. And Yes Jerry’s tractor was from Dan to Lussetto to a guy in ND.
Think the guy in ND is Billy Lacina, and he is who sold it to Jerry. Know both those guys lol! So just to be clear, Jerry's tractor is the one Beth is looking for? Not Steve's Money Hungry?

There's likely some pics of it on Illini State Pullers (ISP) facebook page. Their new web site doesn't have many pics yet. I know I have pics on my phone of it, and also on my FB page too.

I think front door tickets are $20 per session, daily pit passes are $50 good for the entire day, all access. The only bad part about getting a daily pit pass is you have to walk all the way to the south end of the building, seems like a quarter mile lol!

Tickets are avail at the front door by session, and after the first session you have to leave, then wait in line outside to get back in. If you buy a pit pass at the back door, it's good for the whole day, both sessions, so when they flush everyone out between sessions, you can go into the pits. I've never heard of them actually selling out. It can get damn crowded though Sat night!

run a slug only if rules require it. Take the slug out since rules changed, so the turbo can work as designed.

If you're sucking the filters dry, you have a restriction up stream, between the tank and transfer pump, or first filter. All that plumbing needs to be perfect, or replaced with larger suction lines.

I sell quite a few of the little S200 SXE supercores. The larger one is just a touch smaller than a 3LM466, but is light years ahead of it in modern technology. Anyone who thinks turbo inlet size alone when selecting a turbo, is stuck in the dark ages lol! The 3LM466 measures 2.312" (2-5/16", the larger S200 measures 2.30" wheel size is 2.25") The smaller one is 2.05" wheel size, which would have

be very careful going thinner washers on a 4010/4020 early. The long skinny sac of the tip can hit the piston, especially if the head's been milled a few times. I did have a customer that happened to before I got the injectors to fix.

NOPE! So many people mistake an MW for a P pump. The MW was used on some of the later Perkins V8's. Any P pump on one was put on by someone other than Perkins.

Looks very similar to the IPA 6500 outlaw diesels, and the ISP 7000# limited turbo diesels mixed in with the 7000 NA Superstocks.
