I bought a set from Pete and picked up a Gordywana. I thought they were a beautiful work of art, and fit perfect! The only thing I had problems with was the lock washers split while snugging the bolts down. Wasn't even close to tight. So I rummaged through my stash and found enough head bolt flat washers to put on all the bolts. That is the only thing I would suggest he change, is use high q

Jake, THIS IS the thing I don't like about anonymous posting. We always have posters acting like jackwagons simply because they can hide behind the keyboard. Some just like to stir the $h!t pot, now he needs to lick the spoon!

Cost of the facility is much higher than Gordyville is how I took it. Stands to reason, it is a much nicer facility. Once past the initial sticker shock, I can understand.

Klint did reach out to me and confirmed it is 8 passes still, and explained the increase. Thanks for answering Klint! As much as we dislike price increases on literally everything now, we still bite the bullet and pay the piper to enjoy what we love doing!

So it's still 8 passes? other than some expense explanations, never answered that part of my question. I fully understand everything going up, but we have to see added value to that big hike. What was 132 per person is now going to be 195. Thanks Jake for trying to answer it. While many will still bite the bullet and go, I bet that will thin the crowd down some.

Just got my letter for the box seats and am a little puzzled by the 50% price increase. I realize it's a much nicer facility, and the boxes are bigger, but nowhere did I see if it still includes the usual 8 passes, or did they add more? I'll sell an extra kidney so I can still go lol!

Too many people think the old DT466 had a P pump when indeed they had an MW. The only P pump DT engines from factory are the new generation, and they are very different engines, though with modification some parts from the IH DT can swap. The new gen pump runs counterclockwise, so you can't just put one on.

175 isn't "really turned up" so a stock radiator will cool it for sled pulling. Now trying to run it in the field all day with an inadequate radiator, then you'll have heating issues.

This has me confused. So are you saying the 4640 is firing at 30 degrees factory? I was thinking that pump had 15 degrees built in and when timed at TDC the engine was actually at 15 degrees.
15 pump degrees, equals 30 crankshaft degrees. Too many people confuse all these timing positions, like deere and cummins b/c engines time at tdc, and have the pump marked for so many degree

The accuracy of the timing pointer could be a question. Use of a diesel timing light would confirm you're timing it the same from one pump to the other. Sometimes the pointer on the pump hub is off a little bit. Timing light aimed at your dampener will tell the tale here.

Not sure exactly what you're doing, but an original P pump off a 7520/6030 is a small 10mm plunger pump not capable of a whole lot of fuel delivery without getting into the start retard notches. Seems like a lot of screwing around for a very mediocre pump.

A 7520 pump or any old JD 4wd pump is the smaller P pump, 8430/40/50, 8630/40/50. Cam taper is 25mm and pilot is smaller. Not an easy swap.

A true P3000 has the larger 30mm tapered drive size and the larger pilot area. Bolt patterns are same for nearly all P pumps. The generic P pumps that most use for pulling get erroneously called P3000 mainly to distinguish them apart from 7100, and 8500. So if a P3000 for a RoGator, 2380, etc was used for the core to build the pulling pump, it would bolt right on.
