I had a p3000 pump built ta do both left an right rotations,,there's no cut in cam to stop motor from running backwards, I run in on m.m. motor, or pull off put on my 8.3 cummins,, just switch lines around on pump ,, works grest

I run stock in put shaft in my vista , with 8.3 in it, for years , if u wanta run big hp might want sleeve Trans shaft ,or make solid,tends bend up or set pulling gear in front or rear of Trans, or put bearing block on shaft,3 disc in mine on Minnie sfi flywheel on Cummins, just my set up

U have to convert to direct inj,u need cut inside heads out to flow air, mm pistons won't take it, been there ,Done it, lots custom built parts to get mm motor to take it. Oil system ,lack ability to survive ,pull in ,585 has lots potential,if u got big check book, we now are running 8.3 , an expense is so much less,now we be coming competitive,, jus my opinion ..

We run4"up to a 5"out the hood, it slips up in 5" alittle bit, we dont have alot smoke come out it, under the hood , our hood tilts forard, built cage bracket , carries most weight of our5" pipe an jus rest onhood pipe, with double bell an seal clamp,, if you realy worried about smoke under hood , use what we used on coal buckets for heating the beds, a round bell an flange,,when bed goes up lift

Another thing do .is take Vega car trans. .put were hyd .pump sit .have machine shop make couples to hook in to it..leave cast plate off.so u can shift out in pits..works also....but jus some things get h move slower...their also fast ring an pinion an a slow ring an pinion..

You can use a trans out of farmal h road grader.use stock h input gear an counter gear.road grader trans. give u a 9tooth reduction over all. grader tranny has 2nd an 3 Rd gear revsered in postiin..u loose fith gear .cause of two different trannys...16.9 tires an stock motor have stuff to bust the cast hubs off it ...might wants swap up to 300 cast hubs ....that's how I done it years ago...

Is she done. Lol. Well. It comin slow.lol. need some parts, one being a fuel pump. .got one donated. But soon. Learned it a right hand rotation. An I needed a left rotatation. Thanks to the guys that checkin on my progress. Someone found a pump for us. The gear for its done an is getting ship as we speak. I got a 97. Stroker. .don't know how much boost pressure its got. Fuel milage never above16mpg. We haul goosneck an tractors on it.pulled 8% grade for 7 to 8 miles with tractors on trailer. Have a superchip program in it straight pipe on it. Did you install factory set inj? If oversize check with Deisel shop an see if you need to install bigger huie pump to make sure you inj have enuff oil p
