I have several .450 and .500 roosa's they will light that 560 up if you are interested. The .370s and the .390s are not even close to running as hard as a .450 If you want fuel and lots of smoke and still want to run a roosa this is the way to go.

did you have the block filled all the way to the top. what combo did you use. how bad is the loss of the compression going to hurt other than just having to ether start it every time we may shoot water to it.

I am in the process of putting a narrow front on a 766. I do not have the right steering bolister for it so i am going to put a 706 bolister in it and shim it to fit. My question is when a put the 706 bolister in the 766 am i going to have to change anything other than the steering lines. will i have to use the steering valve off the 706 or the hand metering pump or is it just as simple as shimmi

1256, 1456, 1026 or the 915 combine had some 407s in them, you will also need a thermostat housing, crossover pipe, and you will have to cut a new exhaust hole in the hood. you will need a oil filter base or you can drill your old one if you are trting to make it look stock.

does any one know how to go about putting a narrow front end on a 766. I can't find the high crop bolister and steering lines needed to do this, does anyone know of any other ways. i have heard of putting a 06 or 56 series bolister in and shimming it to fit but what do you do about the steering lines and how much to narrow is the bolister for the frame rails

big 401 when you went with the bigger piston did you use any kind of sleeve, i am now thinking about keeping the stock crank and just putting a 4.5 piston in it and making it a 429ci cutting deeper valve reliefs in the pistons and going with a bigger cam. but what i need to know is if i bore the sleeve will there be enough left. or do i need to remove the sleeves and bore the block.

we really like the 361s and the 407s and we are trying everything we can to get all the power we can out of our 361 without just putting in a 407. just to see if we can do it we have a 450 roosamaster a 3000 rpm limit and we are running a to4 turbo right now, but we are going to a 3lm. but i would also like to stroke our 361 and put a cam in it, it runs really strong right now but i want more.

do you also keep the 361 rods. is it worth all the work to get the extra 10 cubes. 407s are getting hard to find and they are expensive to buy. but i did come up with a crank. so i dont know if it is really worth the while.

the d361 or the d407 are extremely strong but the parts are a little harder to find, they are very easy to get power out of and they will handle alot, the pumps are harder to find but you can get a ton of fuel out of a 450 roosamaster.
