I'm pretty sure I have the oil sprayer.
I have a doubt on the "H" high swirl head usually used in non-turbocharged engine. Some people say it can spray fuel on the out of the bowl.

Hi guys,
i had a dropped valve problem, after i takes the head out i see my other piston is melted. My current setup is 13mm Ppump 600cc, water injection in the intake pipe 25oz per 10 second, 5x22 injector(brand new from FVP) 28*timing, S400 3x3 turbo. Never go up then 1350* on the pyrometer. Engine is Ih d414 engine with "H" head. What can be the cause of my melted piston ?

The pump is set to 600cc with 4x25injectors( brand new FVP 5x22 is on the way). Max Rpm is set to 3600. Timming is 24BTDC. And the weight classes is 10&12 000lbs.

Couple things, don't decompress your 414 or your 466 that won't help anything also your way short of the water you need. That setup should use around 25-30oz in a pass (10 sec) so you really need to triple what your currently putting in. Also start with strait water not water meth, could get very expensive with that stuff

We already run with 50/50 watermeth, but only with 21oz/min nozzle. I think it's not enough?!

I think I got surge problem. No problem to spool, tractor goes down the track very well until the rpm goes down a little bit.
It's a d414 engine. Stock head & cam.
Turbo is BW s475 3x3
Turbine housing is 1.00a/r
Boost is 68psi and drive pressure 72-74psi
How is the best way to fix it ?
Change Turbine a/r?
Decrease compressor wheel size?
Give more flow(porting,cam,rocke

Hi everyone,
I got a 966ih with the 414ci engine. It runs with 3x3 charger, 13mm ppump, 4x25 injectors, big lines etc..
I think the next step is head works and a good camshaft. But, is a "H" head and flat tappet cam.
My question is, does it waste of money to pay for a porting for this head and grinding a flat tappet cam ? Will I be better to bring a complete DT466 with already a "+" head

I just bought a 13ppump to put on my ih966 dt414 . I'll bring the pump to the shop for verification and my question is how many CC I should adjust the pump.
Tractor run with:
-3x3 s400 turbo
-5x22 dual feed
-big lines
-Stock head & camshaft
No speed & rpm limits class.

I'm looking for a s475 turbo with the 74mm exducer wheel for my IH 966.
The tractor run a 13mm ppump at 500cc and the max rpm is set to 3500rpm.
I have the choice of 4 turbine housing, .90, 1.00, 1.10 and 1,25 A/R.
According to you, what would be the best choice ?

I have a IH 966 with D414 engine. And I'm looking to replace my injectors nozzles for bigger one. The originals are ADB152M164-7 ( NBM0052 ) they have 4 holes of 0.270mm. I have heard that some DT466 have 5 hole nozzles. Someone know the parts number? Or other suggestion?
