That pump was used on AC engines as well as some IH and Deere engines, so it is possible that it will bolt on to those.

I'm not sure if he had been mentioned here, but Max Simpson would be another name that I would add to the list.

I our organization the rules have been revamped and for the first time have a cubic inch limit in them of 375. Naturally aspirated. No speed limit, and 30% over to a max of 3000rpm. 18.4x38 tires, 5750lbs. There is no rule that you can put in to mandate 'no spending', but we are hopeful that someone can put a tractor together very reasonably, and come out and have fun. We are allowi

Very well said. I do agree that you can be 'too slow', but pick a happy medium where a decent show is put on without breaking the bank. I've always said that it is not necessarily the cost of building the tractor, it is the constant cost of maintaining it that hurts! Cheers!

Good job, guys. I know that a very slow speed limit can kill a class, but 10mph is a good start. Like others have said, keep a limit on it, and it should be a relatively affordable class with large numbers. All the best!

Question. ...is the 2640 and 2840 the same rear?? A 2840 is a 3130 after the Canadian exchange...lol.

Weight classes are 7500lb and 9000lb, with the 7500 being the predominant class.

I was wondering about a 2130. Not familiar with what all the 329 will bolt up to.

I am curious to know what Deere rear half would work well for a llss or light pro stock application? The heart would be a 329 engine. Thanks!

I am looking for rules or ideas to make up a set of rules for a four cylinder compact diesel pro stock class here in Ontario. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

What intrigued me about them was that they likely are relatively low maintenance if they are built right to start with. The cost to build is one thing, but the ongoing costs are another if you have to wrench all of the time....

I agree, it was a great class. I hope it takes off in other areas as well.

You are right, Dirk. I like what little I have seen of them, they are a little bigger, and a little easier to control. The variety would be nice as well.

Just wondering if there are any of the four cylinder compact diesels pulling in the US? We have started sanctioning garden tractors in our club here in Ontario, and I am curious to learn more about these tractors, the rules and such. Thanks!!

After watching Jerry Sipes pull with his Cummins at Gordyville, just wondering what you guys thought would be the better motor for a light pro stock on alcohol?? The Cummins seemed to perform very well. We have a 401 cu in. limit in our club. I would love to build one after I finish my modified farm tractor, if time and money are available!! LOL! Being an orange man at heart, I could put an o

I am interested to hear how your build is going too. Someday I would like to put one on alcohol to put in a light pro stock chassis for here in Ontario. Our cube limit is 401, so I would be interested to know how they would competer with the Ford 401 on alcohol!! I am currently building a Ford for our modified farm stock, but would like to have orange sheetmetal on something! Good luck.

Thanks, guys for your help on this. We are just looking to make it fair and maybe more convenient as there are many more engine choices out there with the cam box pumps.

A group of people and I have begun the process to put a sanctioning body together for garden tractors here in Ontario and are looking for feedback for pro stock diesels. We are wondering what if any, turbo restrictions there may be for inlet and outlet sizes, and if anyone has thought of restricting the size of the turbos for the Yanmars so as the Kubotas, Shibaurua's etc, can compete?
