Re: Farm stock pulling questions - 13 days ago

QuoteFarm Stock Sorry. Driver included but no weights. My son usually pulls and weighs alot less than me. We pull in the 12500 lbs class. Around here we have farm stock for articulating tractors, open class is 50000lbs. The first time my son pulled was in a 835 versatile. He left the parking brake on and caught the tractor on fire before he got to the line. We got it put out and he was able to

Re: The new NTPA website is terrible - 27 days ago

Users can sort by date or any of the other headings at the top of the results page by clicking on them. I understand this may not be working for you (maybe you've tried it already), but it works that way on a desktop.

Desktop Version Works Well for Me - 28 days ago

I've only looked at it on a desktop, but I like it. I can easily sort results by using any of the tabs at the top and the schedule is in a much better format than before. I prefer the list view, but the calendar view is also an option for those that prefer it. I have not tried looking at the site from an Android or Apple phone but I am happy with the desktop version.

Re: Fort Recovery great track, great pull - 8 weeks ago

I agree! It is a great venue, great crowd, and even with the sled breakage on Saturday it was a great pull. I hated to see the Light Pros cancelled but I understand why they did it. Already looking forward to next year.

Re: Lowry Sled Malfunction - 8 weeks ago

QuoteSelective Puller With all the complaints about these sleds I am curious. Do any of you choose to go to a pull or not based on the sled used. I know I personally have stayed home rather then pull a certain sled. I have ones I prefer and operators I think are better then others. Just another thing to think about when putting on a pull. I know sleds can be hard to get and the good ones can'

Re: MASTERSON VS SIMON - 2 months ago

QuoteMark (EC,IN) Agree on the NTPA results page. They need to drop all the "choices" and just list pulls and the results..........if I care, I'll figure out if it's a Super National, Grand National, Pro National (don't seem to have had any of those this year yet), or whatever other choices it is. I agree 100%!

Re: Kenny’s clutch poor service - 2 months ago

QuoteKevin "Another vote for Rursch…..Kenny’s would never return my calls. Rursch was easy to get ahold of and easy to work with." Must depend who you are, been waiting on Rursch since Feb. went for months without answering the phone, it's July 20th and we still have no clutch. But we are low on the list I'm sure, the big name pullers money spends better I guess. I hate to hear t

Re: farm stock Open speed at harvest barn sugarcreek? - 2 months ago

Check out their facebook page. I know they have been pulling there all summer, but I'm unsure of the exact rules. Alan Albright is one of the organizers, he would have all of the info you need. I know he is on facebook.

Re: 4430 injectors - 2 months ago

Are you still 404 CID or swapped to 466 CID? What 3LM turbo are you using? What style injectors? I know of guys that install 4840 or 4850 injectors (but that depends which engine you have and what style injectors you have) and that makes an improvement. I'm interested to learn more as well.

Re: Sponsorships -Pulling vs Golf. - 2 months ago

QuoteRW They are an ITPA points fund sponsor. What amount, I have no idea. Peanuts for Mother Deere I'm sure. Is it Deere Corporate or a local Deere Dealer that is sponsoring? Either way I’m glad to hear it.

Re: Sponsorships -Pulling vs Golf. - 2 months ago

QuoteBryan Lively I'm unaware of Deere Corporate putting any money into sponsoring pulling (outside of local dealers sponsoring local pulls). From the business perspective, the amount of eyes Deere reaches sponsoring a golf tournament that is watched by millions of suburban households is probably more lucrative than sponsoring pulling which reaches thousands of "generally" rural househo

Following up in case somebody needs this info in the future. 3LM-299 is about a 1.9” inlet and the 3LM-33 is about 2.03” inlet.

3LM-299 VS 3LM-33 How do they compare? - 2 months ago

I’ve searched all over online and cannot find measurements for these two turbos. I have a 3LM-299 and can measure it, but cannot find the measurements for a 3LM-33. I am planning to put one of them on a 4430 (out of field puller) with stock fuel pump and a few turns on the screw. Of course it’s too late to call any shops till Monday. If the 3LM-299 will work then I can bolt it on today and ke

GPS Speed Monitoring App, Recommendations? - 3 months ago

Thanks for the response and information. Are you happy with yours? I understand it will not be exact to the sled but I’m just looking for something to get me close. Some places I go have a board, unfortunately some places do not.

Re: GPS Speed Monitoring App, Recommendations? - 3 months ago

QuoteBryan Lively You may have to download a few and try them each out and see how well they work, There are a dozen Android apps that are highly rated and free to download. The greatest issues are the latency of the gps signa, the accuracy of the sled's monitor and the accuracy of the app itself - all the more reason to try out multiple apps. Those are all issues that I have concerns with

Re: It’s fan voted - 4 months ago

QuoteCc I think everyone forgets the fans voted for these pullers to be there so quit bitching about oh so an so isn’t here so it’s not a good pull blah blah it’s not a points pull or champions tour or grand national it’s a regular pull put on by a group of guys wanting to do something a little different it’s still a good show and if you can’t get around that then go watch dirt racing Amen!

Re: Huge Explosion in Keystone Friday Night - 6 months ago

Quotejd43 Wow I saw it on the Live Stream. What was the updated rule on the cable? The alkys had real issues last night. I was under the impression they had to add a second cable on the rear of the engine to match the one on the front. I very well could be totally wrong!
