I’ve searched all over online and cannot find measurements for these two turbos. I have a 3LM-299 and can measure it, but cannot find the measurements for a 3LM-33. I am planning to put one of them on a 4430 (out of field puller) with stock fuel pump and a few turns on the screw. Of course it’s too late to call any shops till Monday. If the 3LM-299 will work then I can bolt it on today and ke

Thanks for the response and information. Are you happy with yours? I understand it will not be exact to the sled but I’m just looking for something to get me close. Some places I go have a board, unfortunately some places do not.

You may have to download a few and try them each out and see how well they work, There are a dozen Android apps that are highly rated and free to download. The greatest issues are the latency of the gps signa, the accuracy of the sled's monitor and the accuracy of the app itself - all the more reason to try out multiple apps.
Those are all issues that I have concerns with

Anyone use a gps speed app on their smartphone to monitor track speed when there is no reader board? If so, what app do you use? Does it display mph to the tenths? Thanks!

I think everyone forgets the fans voted for these pullers to be there so quit bitching about oh so an so isn’t here so it’s not a good pull blah blah it’s not a points pull or champions tour or grand national it’s a regular pull put on by a group of guys wanting to do something a little different it’s still a good show and if you can’t get around that then go watch dirt racing
Amen!

Wow I saw it on the Live Stream. What was the updated rule on the cable? The alkys had real issues last night.
I was under the impression they had to add a second cable on the rear of the engine to match the one on the front. I very well could be totally wrong!

Looks like cables did a good job. Glad it was contained well and tough break for the owner.

I just went through this a couple weeks ago. See link below.
I purchased from Rursch. It was simple, they came recommended and there was somebody on the other end of the line every time I called. The gentleman offered information, answered questions, and was generally friendly. I called other businesses but did not have the same results. Customer service sold me. Good luck!

Thanks for the update. I'm glad to hear they were good to work with. I'm sure we'll need some parts from them someday. Just for info. we run a 5 disk at 210psi. We have a gauge right by our shift lever. On ours building boost and letting her go is a little tricky with the wet clutch.
Have fun and good luck.
Appreciate the info. This is a new to me tractor and is bone

Just an update. I really appreciate the info and offers from everyone. I spoke to Rursch last week and called back today and placed my order. The gentleman on the phone was very good to deal with.

I will be tuning in for this! I think $25.99 for 14 hours of pulling is a deal. I'm interested to see how it's done on your side of the pond anyway. Will the purchase of the event allow me to watch it on my own time or is it live only? That time of year is busy and being able to watch on my schedule would make it much more feasible for me.

I will pay more than $10 for a large event. Bowling Green, Louisville etc. I just paid $45 for the Louisville finals.
I would not subscribe to a whole season of pulling events at more than $10 an event. That’s not because I don’t think it’s worth it, it’s because my summer schedule would not allow me to get a value from it. I don’t have the time nor desire to watch TV in the summer.

I’m looking for a steel flywheel for a John Deere 4430. I am sticking with a wet clutch right now behind the factory 404. I foresee a 466 swap in the future so I’d like to get a steel flywheel that is set up for the 466. The way I understand is I can use it on the 404 and swap it to the 466 (add two bolts) when the time comes.
I’ve called:

If they want to call a full pull, then I believe that they should set that mark prior to the first tractor leaving the starting line.
Then each competitor will know where that mark is.
Best to all and hope the committee will receive this as constructive feedback and not an attack. We enjoyed our visit to the farm show this year and plan to return.

I also want to thank Brent for posting the nightly results . I'm thinking the reason the NFMS website isn't posting results as they have in the past is because they are selling live streaming of the event to no doubt help cover costs and improve their bottom line. If this insures that the show will go on into the future, I am all for it !! Again , many thanks to

Along with the theme of results, why is the Farm Show website waiting to post results until the week of Feb. 20th? When I looked for results yesterday, I noticed a big banner that read that results will be posted on the week of Feb. 20th.
Just curious why the wait? Thanks!
