Anyone know where all the D21s of the 80s an 90s are today, use to be several in Indiana and a bunch from Ohio that ran real good back in the day, just wondering what ever happened to them, if they got parked or parted out or convertered. Thanks |

Here you go
|
A few of Ohio D21s are still out there pulling. The SS Pepsi D21 is now Hohandle.. Jeff and Charlie still pull it and it is in Zanesville, Oh. Steve Smith's D21 went to Karlins and maybe now in Michigan. Double Trouble went to Max Simpson and then sold to Phil Overdoffer in Indiana and is now Mean Ole Allis. The Allis Challenger is still owned by the Bryans and is now a Lt. Pro Stock. Buckeye Thunder went to Neil Gettinger, then to Dennis Wertz, then to NY, then back to Oh. to Jason Erwin. Wellerts alkie SS is now High Strung. Dennis Morlock still has his SS Circuit Breaker, but it's in the barn. Harlan Scott's SS D21 went to Jamie Lobel. Karlin's Nightmare (orilinally Mark Schegle's Widow Maker) went to Mike Sherer. Matt Totten still has his D21. Mark Gettinger has the Equalizer back. Doug Huffman still has Jimmy Dean's 210. That's all I can think of right now. |

"Old Faithful" D21 of Benny Mckinnon Pleasant Hill, Illinois ended up at Dexter Farm Equipment Galesburg,Illinois.
Then I believe it went out east Pennsylvania or New York, someone else might know more on these details. Don Mckinnon's "Joker" I believe went to Bobby Jones Pleasant Hill, Illinois. Then Mike Eagan south of Belleville Illinois bought it. Then they built a component. Anybody can correct me on any of this it may not be right. |

I would love to know what happened to Ray's, it was sold in about 84-85 and went east somewhere I think. It had a Mack bulldog hood ornament on the front of the hood. If anyone knows what happened to it. |

In Indiana, here's some more:
Bob Mitchell's alky heavy SS (no name as I recall) was bought by Bob Hawk becoming the "Chicken Hawk". Harold Wilson's D-21 SSD "Sled Handler" and later his son, Dave, also had one, "Going for Broke". I have no idea where the above tractors are today. From back in the '70's, Dennis Bobb still has the D-21 and I believe his brother Danny's GN champion 190XT. |

Dennis does have an excellent display around a tree in his yard. However, for the most part, those tractors are replicas.
The GN title winning 190 XT was converted back to stock and went to the fields when it's pulling days were done. I believe it is still with the family. Not sure what happened to the D-21 from that time frame. The 2 D-21 from the 80s, 90s, and beyond are still in the same condition as the last time they were parked. They are kept inside. |

Do you mean the black and white tractor pulled by Herb McKinnon? It got sold to Joel Smith of Eminence, KY around 1980.
He painted it the traditional orange, ran it for a little while, maybe even pulled at Louisville once or twice. I do not know where it went after that. |
