That’s where you and I see it differently. What you see as censorship I see an organization saying you’re going to represent our brand with integrity. We all talk about professionalism and from my pov this ties into that. Like I stated previously there is a time and a place for everything but when we walk out that door we are the NTPA, PPL, OUTLAWS, BOB etc. I think it promotes a level of pro

I see no problem with the rules. I would go the other way and encourage more organizations to adapt a professional code of conduct. There is a time and a place for arguments, screaming, shouting, cussing and being nose to nose. Those are at the organizational meetings. Regardless of which organization you are with, when you walk out that door you represent said organization, act like a profes

Kinda like old cast rear ends wouldn’t you say. Definitely not making anymore Oliver 1800A, Farmall 460/560, AC180 etc. Your question answers the question as to why allowing components in is a good thing.

You learn from pulling’s past and you rein it in NOW.
1. No tire technology newer than a Puller 2000 effective 2026 (gives everybody a year to unload and get legal)
2. No aftermarket heads of any type including but not limited to recast and billet. No Hamilton heads, no Hyper etc. anyone currently running one will have until the 2026 season to get legal. In that time frame tech inspectors w

What would you set the upper age limit at? The problem facing pulling is there is no such thing as “entry level”. I don’t care if it’s a Hot Farm, LLSS, Classic Super etc, the initial investment to build from the ground up is the same. A billet crank is a billet crank, same with rods, pistons, cams, turbos, pumps etc. While they may have different gearing but billet gears are billet gears. Yo

I get tired of hearing how components are going to kill the class. Name one class it has ruined? I was at the rules meeting when OSTPA was the first in the country to allow components in the PS class. I was at the rules meeting when NTPA allowed it in the light super class and the HSTPA meeting when they allowed components. The only one I missed is when they allowed them in the DSS and Unl SS

Enderle in Indy at the PRI show either at the fairgrounds as previously mentioned or in the stadium. Would be a way to kind of revive the Indy Super Pull days.

Where do you start? Which components are going to be safe? Mods have been running them for 45 years now. Everyone is pointing to Meints busting and a few years ago a Doc type rear end which utilizes 9 bolt hubs it broke a hub at an indoor pull. Ace Chassis gave a very thorough explanation on the Meints failure if memory serves me correct, they didn’t build it but were able to analyze the fail

What you’re saying couldn’t be farther from the truth. We were pulling LSS in 2003 and they still weren’t allowed. It wasn’t until 05-06 that they were allowed in the LSS class. I can tell you that most of the guys who had cast chassis back then have since made the switch. So try again! I’ll do you one better, tell me what class components have been allowed in that it did ruin? The answer i

I hope the photo attaches properly. Using 55-60 year old cast makes sense no-where! This is a motorsport, aftermarket is the name of the game! Long term the component is cheaper. By the time you shorten the axle housings, turn them down, shorten the axles and drill them out it’s asinine to expect them to keep living. We haven’t done anything to slow down head technology (heard some aftermark

So there is a block stiffener that is stock from the factory. Not knowing the rules of your organization don’t know if you’d be able to use it or not. Part number 3927606

Maybe a statement from NTPA would be best. You see it from other “professional” organizations all the time. NHRA, NASCAR etc all issue statements concerning items. This was essentially a $10,000.00 decision. They could explain what the rulebook does or does not say and what led to their final call.

Mr. Morgan
Glad to see you’re coming around to my way of thinking. I have long argued this point. Multiple sanctioning bodies are bad for the sport. Most the time I get “competition is good”. No it’s not! Not in “professional” sports. There is only one NHRA, MLB, NASCAR, etc. For sports to be successful you need unity. We have also seen the failure in other sports of multiple sanctionin

First question:
1. Name one class that has allowed components that it has killed the class? I’ve heard that argument for 25 years, components will kill the class. Name one in which that has happened?
2. Name one class that has allowed components and the vast majority of competitors in that class regret making the switch?
Nothing has been done to slow down technology in turbos, pumps, tire

They have some of the most fair prices anywhere. I’ve seen people go to country music concerts like Buckeye Country Superfest here in Columbus, Ohio and drop $12 a beer and $8 for a bottled water like they had just won the lottery. Pulling fans have been spoiled for a long time. Most county fairs where we run you can get in for $10 or less, $20 a head if you include pit pass. Not very many pl

You make a true statement that if you raise the purse you will lose promoters. I don’t see this as a bad thing. Less hooks would mean more participation. Look no further than Clinton County the year of COVID. In R2 there were so many hooks for certain classes (30+) they've split the region multiple ways depending on the class. So now instead of getting 8-10 to show up you’re getting 3-5

That’s such a loaded question. I can speak most specifically on Ohio and in a broader sense make educated guesses on others. I do know specifically with Illinois it was a clash of personalities between the leader of Illinois (Mike Miller is the name in my head, don’t know if that’s right) and DPS and the roll cage issue was also the straw that kinda broke the proverbial back. I also know that

Looks like some technical difficulties for the pro stock and open supers. As with anything new always going to be some kinks to work out. It was a really well done show up to that point. All the announcers were informed, educated and you could tell they all love pulling. Well done!
