This is for Been There. This is Joe Heard I am the pit boss at Gordyville. Notice I am posting my name here. I know who you are. Why is this easy for me to figure out. Because in the 9 years I have been taking care of the pits I had one time that this happened.(that I am aware of) Nothing happened to your tire. I apologized to you and said I was sorry that it had happened several times. The reas

Thanks for the positive feedback on the screens. It would be nice to have names with the distances as well as a run down of the whole class. That is a good idea to put one behind the bleachers. I know we will be putting one in the NE corner of the pit area for sure next year. If anyone is interested in advertising on the screen left of the track be sure to get ahold of one of us. We will discuss

Like Dick said in another post earlier, agenda driven posts made by guests that hide behind the keyboard don't hold any credibility. It made me laugh imagining a bunch of drunks wondering around in Carhart's spouting off everything they know while watching nothing but red tractors go down the track. If this is all you had truly seen at Gordyville, you must have blinders on. Focus on the

Fix this mess stated the obvious. You can only cram so much air through a 640 cubic inch engine at 3000 rpm period.
One thing someone said earlier about wanting to make th e rules the same in all organizations. Good idea. ITPA, IPA, IL Hot Farm, Kenten, and Bootheel had compatible rules. Then BSTP and Illini had there's. Well, now look where we are instead of 2 sets of rules we have thre

I personally love the 4.1 class.. I don't want to see component chassis come into this class. When PS had first introduced the component chassis I didn't agree with it. As time went on I understand why they needed to go that route. I don't think the 4.1 ever needs to go that same direction. It would be the beginning of the end of the class. I just hope the class doesn't become

I witnessed the power failure problem. When I pulled him out of the pit area I asked what happen. He said his master switch flipped off mysteriously and it did, no lights on the dash, no water injection no intercooler pump equals no power. For you nay sayers just look at what he did in the summer. If you watch the video of the pull its obvious what happened. Sorry for your bad luck Scott hope to

22-1, 21-1,20-1, 19-1 final ratios depends on how much power you have. To be at the top you gotta horse and 19-1 and no slower than a 20-1.

Black bart are you serious?! I dont think any of these tractors are "past" super farms...Dyno numbers prove they are. i am not sure on where you got that? as far as UPM profarms that isnt even close to comparing apples to apples... they would be compared to BSTP hotfarm.. the UPM profarms wouldnt stand a chance against the BSTP hotfarms... some places yes they track will want less H

Don't mean this as an insult, but who would spend that kind of money on a profarm? And to pull for peanuts. And what does best of the best mean? Certain parts and combinations are needed to make horsepower. Certain parts are needed to handle the stress put on an engine. A billet crank would be the best of the best but is definately not necessary in a profarm. Unless you were

You could also run the IHFSPA Pro Farm class as well at 3500 rpm with a 466. If you live further north in the state you could run with IPA Pro Farm as well. It seems that 3000 rpm and a cooler made the 9500 more hp and more able to be competitive with neighboring organizations. The more hooks the better I say. That's all the good that it has done, but I agree with a lot that as been said her

Go to Case IH and ask them a new long block for your 806 and let us know what say. They will sell you a 400 series engine. The rear end housing is the same from a 806 through a 86 series and a little newer I believe.
