I dont think its a rules argument. seems you want everyone to agree with your thinking on rules and nothing else. I think at big events 6200 would probably work for most but your turbo recommendation would not

weight is no big issue for me really although I spent the time and money to build my tractor to have weight at 6000lbs so thats my preference as did many other tractors. I dont really see 6250 being a compromise as several places pull 6250 up north and south pulls 6000 so how is 6250 compromising?

rules in Ky been 470 since class started in late 90s I think. The 410 didnt come along here till few years back. yea we have cube advantage but 410 has slot and cooler advantage. I didnt want to mess with cooler. personal preference.

mr. anderson then its you northern guys choice not to run those rules. I had been out of the class for nearly 10 years, had nothing to do with what rules where made. actually the turbo rule when i came back was smallest it had been in many years. I built a tractor to rules that where in place so I damn sure didnt take advantage of nothing. everyone told me the 410, slotted charger with cooler wou

One person has been responsible for the beating to death. Same person, many diff names. There absolutely needs to be more random checks but at same time instead crying all time or bringing it to this page, put up the money and protest if so certain someone is cheating

There is no need in dividing. It makes the class interesting. The points came down to last pull of season. Can't get much closer or competitive than that

Lol, we all know that's b.s. if you think they running hot fuel then put your money up. If you want my charger checked, put your money up. If the ones you say running hot fuel is who I think it is, I'll bet whatever you want that you are wrong. Man up or shut up

Mr.spankydass, you don't have the manhood to post your name just like you don't have manhood to protest instead of crying all time. The one time you where gonna protest, you where told yours would be checked first so you loaded and went home. Hmmm wonder what that implies.

Mr. Runkle dont take this the wrong way but to be honest i dont care if your defending any one position or not. Im not defending either position. I was only telling the guy his options for the weight he is building for. Im a diesel guy, I wouldnt mind seeing more weight but the bottom line is Im pretty sure its not gonna change in this area.

im not defending the weight either way. i was simply saying it looks like the weight will be staying at 6000 and this guy is asking for input, not a weight debate. everyone seems to have a chip on there shoulder anytime someone responds to something. i was simply giving the guy the facts the way the rules are at the moment. always funny how you guys put these smarta** remarks on here but wont pos

the 5000 is stronger but harder to get movable weight. the alky guys are breaking a few axles on 4000 and really need to use a profab or atlas tranny box with them. i believe midsouth is using the national rules which is 3.4 turbo but im not certain on that

Mr. fix the problem,I am building one and had planned on being out this year. Had some setbacks, may possibly make it late this season. If not I will be out next year.

fact of the matter is BOB,KTPA, midsouth are most likely never gonna allow the 3.6 again, especially since none of the guys are willing to even try the 3.4. The protesting is not helping anything but its def hurting things. getting 2nd 1 time this year isnt much of an argument either

The man asked what needed to do to get more tractors. In order to get more tractors he would need to run the same rules as the larger organizations, being ktpa and Bob. Therefore the 3.6 is the conversation piece because that's the reason he most likely will not get alot of tractors

this diesel vs alky stuff is crazy, guess its always been that way tho. I been out of pulling for few years but have been keeping up with most everything. Im a diesel guy thru and thru but the problem i see is the diesel guys knew thru out the 2017 season that the rule was being changed to 3.4 so why didnt anyone try one to see how it was gonna perform. If they had tried the 3.4 or had them on no

yes Joe "MUGS" as we know him as is still alive. The under rat was actually owned by him and my uncle Tom Gordon, Tom never drove it. I do have some pictures, I will try to post them if I can figure out how, I also have a news paper with them featured the year they one the Farm machinery show and I think they may have won the Indy that year also.

Steve, I only went to four pulls with the Henry county group, I was at the first pull of the year and none of these tractors you are saying quite were there. I also didn't here that they were at any of the other pulls I didn't make but maybe one, so I don't believe they quite because of my one Ford but because they were already behind the deeres from last year. Its funny to watch p
