I have an assortment of small metric bolts that I used for a p pump but assume it's the same. I want to say it's M6x1.0 or whichever thread pitch is most common for a M6.

There's several tractors that had more than 531 cubes from the factor in a 2wd configuration. Just off the top of my head, the White 2-180 and Oliver 2255 were up to 636 cu inches and the 540 Perkins in a lot of Masseys.

Replaces the factory plug on the oil filter housing and shims to easily adjust oil pressure. No more adding and removing shims and getting oil everywhere. Able to adjust oil pressure with the tractor running to set it exactly where you want it. Jam nut ensures stud from backing out. Type 90 Duro o-rings are used for sealing.
When ordering, specifically the original plug size. Typically it'

I have no doubt that I could make one but the containment ring seems like a scapegoat for NTPA. If I was a company, I wouldn't even attempt to make one. No way I would assume all liability.

That's how I made one for a friend to check his cam timing. It worked great and didn't take long to make it. I used a lathe and a mill with a digital readout. I can take a picture of it tomorrow but it's self-explanatory.

I have a 12K winch from Harbor Freight with the synthetic rope. I use a snatch block and have no problem pulling a 11,000 lb tractor onto the trailer. 15k should be no problem but I would still use a snatch block.

I have an Everlast that I like. I had a basic Eastwood 200 AC/DC but the Everlast has much more options. For someone starting out or on a budget, Everlast, AHP and Primeweld are great entry machines that are capable. Miller seem to hold their value but the other machines are just as capable at a fraction of the price.

I have an app called Speedometer-2 which is just the newer version of Speedometer. I used it to calibate my sprayer and worked good enough for that. I know it'll go down to tenths, perhaps hundredths.

I know there's several tractors in Illinois and Indiana that pull open. 12,500 seems to a popular choice. Peoria/HOI have a RWYB 13K I think coming up next month that should bring in several tractors from bordering states. During Covid they had almost 30 tractors in that class. What part of Illinois are you in?

Mine currently weighs 9700 lbs. If you have to pull with all the factory parts (lift arms, PTO, front axle, etc) 12,000 lbs is about as light as you can go unless you can find aluminum parts to replace the heavy cast parts up front.

I didn't have to do much. The tractor had 9 bolt factory hubs and stamped rims. I believe we had to have the lift arms on to pull in farm stock then. I didn't have a roll bar or cab. If your tractor has no 3 point hitch and a factory non-rockshaft housing, 12,700lbs should be easy to get to and have weight to move around. It's probably been over 10 years since I pulled my tractor s

I haven't had a rotary pump worked on for pulling in a long time so I wouldn't be able to give you can accurate quote. Any reputable pump shop like Fair Valley could point you in the right direction. At 7 mph, that's probably 5th gear. Years ago I pulled 6th gear in the 13,000 and 5th in the 14,500 classes and always spun out. I was running a 3LM, 450 head, and injectors from Schei

What is farm stock in your neck of the woods? If it's a 12 mph speed limit or less you'll do OK with a set of injectors and a 450 head on the rotary pump. If you have to pull 7th or higher, you're better off starting with a 531 or 619 (latter being the best option). In KY, if you can't pull road gear you'll be last. The sleds around here are setup for speed.

I believe 8th gear is held onto the shaft by a single key. I have heard of people triple keying the shaft or welding it on to help it hold.

If you have closed center hydraulics like on a JD, you'll need a pressure switch like United Electric Control 10-C14 to turn the pump on and off. I have it on my 5020 and it works great.

From the center of the axle housing to the back of the housing where the pto housing bolts on is around 18" on a 5020. If you have the pto in it'll be impossible to have less than 18".
