QuoteHook it
A $1.50 muffler camp. A $2.00 coat hook. A little injunuity and 50 cents worth of paint. Can’t see it or a $30 to $50 one from the grand stand.
I was actually thinking some baler twine and a used condom.

That looks really nice.. But I am thinking something with a bit more heat would be better. A J-58 on full afterburner blowing under a 16' wide rototiller.

My opinion is that you are better off building your tractor from the rear end forward. I would needle the diff If you have ever pulled with a galled differential you would know

The torque limiter is an issue you can use double Bellevue washers or shorten the Stands. More clutch oil pressure. You can shim the controller valve. As I remember there might be a cast iron valve body that will take more pressure than the aluminum one. I am sure someone on here is more up to date

Curious if there is an advantage to using a larger diameter hole in the piston pin lube jets. Open rpm 466 ci. 3x3 charger with water injection. High volume oil pump

I am on my 7th Dodge Cummins truck. The early ones has some issues (most of those issues stemmed from me hot rodding them) My 2013 RAM 3500 has been trouble free for 73,000 towing miles.

What are you diesel guys using for a engine blowby seperator? Is there someone that has a reasonably priced unit? Do I build my own?

seems wrong to have the hubs run face to face. You can figure this out by measuring the thickness of the hubs and thickness of the floater

You can just disconnect them and make a hose loop right back into the MCV

Gonzo how difficult was it to size the filters with AFE? Thinking with my setup this is the only real option.
Dirt or some other material is taking my compressor wheels out. Done the same damage the last two years. Filters look like a much better option to me. I’ll lose 10 hp to prolong the compressor wheel and engine life.
I cant remember the guys name at A-FE that helped me..

Did all of that fit under the hood or did you have to raise the hood ? Thanks.
It all fits under the hood. Hood is in the stock location. I decided long ago that I would gladly give up some HP for a longer life turbo and engine.

This it the setup I built AFE helped with custom size of filters.. I do not have the sizes of the filters.. 6" intake dia, maybe 14" long.

I set my intake volume of methanol by running the engine up to a no load speed of 3000rpm. Then increasing the alky till the engine starts to miss, this seems to be a good starting point

I agree with the shot glass and ice.. But any alcohol in the intake will actually cool the intake charge air more than water alone (pour water on your hand and blow on it.., Do the same with alcohol and you will know the difference.) This is a factor of methanol phase changing to a gas at a much lower temperature than H2O alone. . Plus there is fuel value in the methanol .

I have played with mixing methanol and water years ago. (its legal here) I found 50-50 was a good mix. I have since went to Wally world cheap -20 windshield washer fluid straight and that works quite well. There are some washer fluids that do not work well at all.
