I assume that this comment is made so you can start your own site that is much better. If you have the skills, time and intellegence to start and manage your own site than you owe it to yourself and the rest of the pulling community to do so.
If this is how you feel about the Morgans you should stop visiting. For me I enjoy this site and intend to use it as long as it is runni

I just went to my machine shop and saw a mix match mess. A roller cam with flat tappets WILL NOT WORK AT ALL. The flat tappets will not spin in the bore and will gall and cut the cam. Usually the cam ramp is much too steep to lift the lifter withour gouging the cam with the edge of the lifter.

Our tractor club here in the Northwest has a 6-8-and 12 MPH class. The 12 has been fun but here in a very conservitive community the extra $$ to pull 12MPH seems to be hard to justify. I would like to pull a faster speed but my finances will not allow me to justify another $15 to $20,000 and not have ANY compitition. When I moved to the NorthWest pulling was basically DEAD, the antiques had so

It will be speed related. More shaft speed meens more HP capability. More tire lug=more load on the axle

I am in the Pacific NorthWest. I wrote the rules for our hot 12mph class here so I could compete!! There have been few rule modifications over the years. We still have fun and the competition is good.

I pull a 12,000# 1066 and a 7,000# 666 in a 12mph class. We have very few limits on engine other than 3400rpm. It has been a fun and competitive class. My 1066 tractor is 466, truck roller cam, 13mm pump and big lines and injectors. 3-LM stock charger. We allow water and alcohol. Limits on speed and rpm can be a excellent starter class. IMHO

I agree, the idea that "any engine any color" would be good for the sport is a bad idea. And will do nothing but hurt a spoort that already has a identity poroblem. It would seem that if this is a good idea lets build the "Tractor of tomorrow" every SS PS tractor will have the exact same sheet metal, engine, transmission and tire. He77 maybe only one driver, or remote drive them with a comp

Depends on the tractor use IMHO if it is just a farm tractor and nothing special the Valspar hardner in IH 2150 leaves a very nice finish for me. Special use tractors I would reccomend a good automotive base-clear.

The series 40 IS a IH engine rebadged as Detroit series 40. This opens up a new can of worms for those that have had trouble keeping up with the "Red Edge"
