Had a good time last night, despite the downpour, track crews did a great job making a good track. A lot of breakage in the diesel truck class, hope they can get their stuff back together by the next hook.
Here are the videos...

Some of the Powerstroke 7.3/6.0 performance shops might be able to help you out with HEUI performance, since the PSD is HUEI, or could at least point you in the right direction possibly.

They've had all this custom tuning on duramaxs for years now, and I've never heard of any instances of anything that you've mentioned, unless none of that matters in a 4x4 class..

Klint, looking at the some videos you have for sale, I can't help but wonder how you got a few of the videos, unless you are "borrowing" them off youtube to sell? Reason being, is I videoed at some of the pulls you have listed, and there was nobody else but me videoing, at least not full classes like I do, so I'm wondering how you got the videos?

There has been a 5.9 Common Rail Cummins put into a 706 and one into a Cockshutt that still pulls. Those engines already have all the tuning available to do whatever you want. You can get a stand alone ecm and tune whatever you want. I think a lot of it has to do with fear of the computer, and that it's not a screwdriver..

I don't know if you're on facebook or not. But we are gonna post pulls on our pulling team page that going on each week in the tri-state area. Also am putting together a master schedule that is already over 120 pulls. Should have it done in the next week or so.

Working on it now. Easily over 100 hooks on it so far..
Cowtruckin-- The pulls you mention are mostly brush pulls, DeWitt I see has Badger State pros and limited pros coming though.

DeWitt is July 20 this year.
Wyoming should be July 12th.
Lots of other pulls should have the classes you're interested in. I will be putting together a schedule together here in the next couple of weeks for most every pull in Eastern IA and SW Wisconsin

How much work is it to spice up the shows with pyrotechnics like the monster truck shows? Shoot sparks or something off for every full pull, build some excitement, get a DJ and play something before each puller like they do for bullriders? Good announcers/sound systems so the crowd has a clue whats going on. Good track lighting, I don't know how many pulls I've went to with nothing m

Give Empire Diesel in Dubuque, IA a call, they have experience supercharging diesels. They put the prochargers on the diesel pickup. (563) 588-2708

Put a common rail 5.9 Cummins in a 706 out of a Dodge Truck. Competed in the farm classes, couldn't control the rpms though, ran about 3500 down the track. I see no reason to outlaw electronic injection in the diesels. Common Rails compete just fine with the mechanically injected trucks in the diesel trucks.

I like diesel pickups as much as anybody, but all they're going to do at Gordyville is make me drunker due to the more time it takes to maneuver them around..
