My honest opinion.. NTPA and PPL are missing the boat, and ultimately will see a slow death. People wonder why county fairs cannot keep pulls around.. Associations cater to the bigger HP classes, and forget about their roots. They need to have feeder classes to get people interested. Maybe not at every pull, especially your big time pulls (BG, Tomah, Hillsboro, etc). Can't count how many tim

The below pic is of Mike O'Brien's tractor. This would have been in the 1997-1998 timeframe. Not sure if this helps or not. I believe they called it "Orange Ruffy" according to the 1998 ECITPA Program. ECIPA Old Programs

Which club is going to offer this class? Will a normal mini rod sled stop these or do they need a actual IronBoy type sled?

I'm going to assume you watched one of my videos..
The 2 hot 2 farm class is limited to 16mph in ECI anyways, safety equipment is required (steel flywheels, tiebars, wheelie bars, air shutoffs, etc), helmets and firesuits are not required, unless the tractor has a cage. These are a step above "farm stock". If this was an open speed class, yes, full fire suits, helmets and cages would be r

I think the hardest part many associations would have is finding somebody dedicated to run the live scoreboard. Basically they have to sit behind a laptop and update everything, either at the board itself or they need to have a wireless hotspot of some sorts to update the board from the announcer stand. It's a dedicated job. We've looked into it for our club, but would have to find some

Thomas Rhett is there next Wednesday, they'll probably see a increase in attendance from Walmart cowboys and such..
Rumor on here last year was 3 days of pulling, all afternoon shows in the new facility.. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Looking for something similar for our club..
XFuelLive is a new app that is suppose to solve this issue. I haven't had time to play with it yet, but it has potential.
Google Sheets may work, but your laptop has to have internet in order for it to work and update properly.
We will be looking into this much more after the season, might have to adapt other programs, idk..

Attached is an excel spreadsheet of better than 1300 pulls from across the US. It's still pretty crude, but you can sort by date, state or association at the top fairly easy. Had plans of putting these all into a book/pdf that listed pulls for each state, but ran out of time.
I didn't include any classes, just dates and times and locations that were available on pulling websites tha
