Is there a way to prove it was bad when you got it and didn't just "go bad" when you fired it???
Just trying to help because if you do go through small claims you will have to prove that to a judge that knows jack sh** about tractor pulling let alone a stuck plunger and what causes it. And the defendant will have reasonable doubt on his side.
Very unfortunate situation and hate to h

That statement makes it sound you knew the pump was good when you put it on. Meaning you got what you paid for, a working pump. Am I following that correctly?

Sorry to hear about your experience. But I do have a quick question. If you do involve the law or small claims, how does one prove the pump was good until it stuck, then trashed it when you started the tractor?
The reason I ask is I have seen new pumps even stick and like you said no "warranty" in pulling. But also fixing a plunger is different from a pump being junk.
Hope you get you

I have no idea, if that block was a "new" Hyper one or not. If it is, he never hooked at an NTPA event with it anyway. It was legal for Outlaws.
As far as good parts I was referring to the rods and crank.

Well I define a SS as a tractor with more than one turbo. Not one single charger tractor on that list and if there was they could pull SF, LPS, or PS. I didn't realize there was a hp minimum rule in the class. My tractor is quite a ways off of where Matt's and Henderson's are, let me know when I get too far off and I no longer fall into your rules of SS.

Tyler and Dan Boeckmann are building a DSS, 4960 sheet metal and 4 chargers, REI engine. It should be tough runner. Wonder if the builder will know how to tuck 4 chargers under the hood.

Anderson, Hovden, Parker also hooked at sometime in 2008 so could be at a pull in 2009.
JD component being built in SE IA hopefully will be out.
2007 was way down, 2008 better, 2009 should be great for DSS

My partner is a service manager at a CIH store and ran 87299950. It came back as a block, no price, check the locator for availability.
He then put in to Assist (a system that helps with parts and service issues case by case) with that part number and it came back to contanct Hypermax Engineering with their phone number. It's in the system.

If you are going to Tomah I will stock the cabinet with brown water and fill the cooler with that watered down stuff and you can have your choice. Maybe the later it gets I will get some of those "secrets" out of you.

Fastest I have seen is at Hinton in 2008. Was supposed to be 2 sleds 2 tracks, ended up with 1 sled, and they had to make do. 3 min 30 secs/hook and was done before midnight with 80+ hooks. That's probably a number I wouldn't use to plan a pull, that's very fast and no hiccups.

I agree Jake, but looks like 500 lbs at least is needed to make that happen. Last night they were 6500 alkys, 7000 diesels.

The pull started and hour late at 8.30 and ran until 3:20. That's 6 hours and 50 min or 410 minutes of pulling, with 135 hooks ran and 38 hooks postponed until this morning. But 173 hooks were planned, 2 tracks equaling roughly 86 hooks per track.
Even if you ran 86 hooks on each tracks averaging 4 minutes a hook on both tracks (which is fast) and started at 7:30, the pull wasn'

It looks like the PPL comparison in payout is to show where the money is paid for the points and it showed 3 teams in 2008 took home all the pay for the top six spots. Boyds, Mastersons, and Littles took all the money in those spots. PPL is adding 2500 for their points fund for 2009 but will all be added into the top 3 spots. And the pull purse will get some new money added into the 1,2,and 4t

There's a Prostock letter with numbers and figures for the class. Pretty in depth in how all decisions have been made.
Then a prostock turbo sponsorship payout per tractors that participated.
Then an NTPA, PPL, Outlaw pro stock comparison chart, by hooks, locations, miles, and purse.
2008 PPL points payouts by class and 2009 intended points fund for PPL champ tour.
