The "Puller" article--The Parish Family--- - 14 years ago
Just got my March issue of the “Puller” in the mail and saw a real nice cover photo of the Parish Family’s “El Nino” on the cover. However the story by Dave Dann on the Parish Family is one of the best articles I have ever read in any pulling magazine. The story starts out with the usual pulling info, a typical pulling story, but then the story turns to the health issues that Larry faces and howby Dick Morgan - Forum

My Opinion- Honesty in the NTPA engine/sheet metal rule - 14 years ago
Now that the NTPA has decided to go down the “any sheet metal, any engine road” I think that in order to be honest with the fans that the tractor needs and should be registered with the brand of motor that the puller is using, not the sheet metal that is being pushed down the track. If a puller decides to run a John Deere engine with Oliver sheet metal, then the tractor should be registered anby Dick Morgan - Forum
My opinion--The 2010 NFMS - 14 years ago
The 2010 Farm Show is in the books and here are some thoughts on the show; The sled settings were right on in most of the sessions. I’m not sure I agree with the reset in the finals of the Alcohol Super class in the finals, Jeff Hirt had a great pass and didn’t really drive it hard into the sand, however I understand that Mike W. doesn’t want 6 tractors in a pulloff in the finals. So I guessby Dick Morgan - Forum

My opinion----The NFMS selection process - 14 years ago
I have read on this and other sites some complaints on the process that the NFMS uses to select vehicles to bring to Louisville every year. And in the past I would agree that not all of the vehicles chosen were either the best choices or even some times placed in the right class. However over the last few years the committee has done a great job of bringing the fans some of the best pullers in tby Dick Morgan - Forum
