a couple years ago a top competitors mechanic claimed to me they were making 2800 out of 14-71 engines and they werent using the most agressive pulley... the way veney ran last year with 4 against 5 and 6 i wonder what he had to be making?

no. that engine was kind of unique. and it already has a long stroke for its size. you will have to make your own stroker. just fair warning its been done and you dont get a whole lot for your money.

4.125 bore would get you about 340. 4.25 would get you 362. youll have to look around for pistons with compatible pin and compression height.

also arrange to have a mechanic check for injector codes if you can. if it shows any issues adjust your price acordinngly. any high mileage diesel truck will need injectors eventually but 05s are a lot easier than the older ones

Hey guys curious if theres much of an antique crowd on pulloff. posted our Allis puller on the for sale page, lots of views but only 1 bite so far. What do you folks think? Also would like to hear where the biggest bunch of antique pullers is. My vote is Indiana so far. Theres a fair number of pullers over here in Ohio but the Indiana folks are nuts for it.
