Still a go for sunday as of right now.
Up until this morning, we have NOT had more than a few tenths in the last few days.
Track covered for tonights antique pull. If that is cancelled, will post.
Will update more later in the weekend, and definitely will as soon as possible if cancelled.

Just got back from a JCAMA meeting. Because the ground used to be part of the base, it doesn't really have a physical address, which is weird...I know ....because there are permanent structures there that the club built. Best bet is the location tab on the club website. It has all kinds of maps and directions.
As mentioned earlier, there will be signs at 31, 252, and Schoolhouse road.

If you go to jcamach.org and go to the "our location" tab, it will give directions also.
If you type in Whispering Pines golf course in Edinburgh, it will get close...go west of there and go to Schoolhouse road, then turn north. There will be signs on 31, 252, Schoolhouse road...you won't ge

One week away!
Driver's meeting at 11:45. Pull will start at noon sharp.
Track will be covered in case of showers. There will be equipment at the track to work it back into shape in the event of rain during the event. There is lots of pavement and firm ground, so even if it is damp during the week, there will be plenty of solid parking.

Down to just a little more than three weeks away.
JCAMA is putting finishing steps on infrastructure for larger tractors and increased parking.
Looking forward to having a large group of pullers.
Don't forget the machinery show and other entertainment going on that weekend.

It is fast approaching and will be here soon....
The JCAMA is working hard to make this a great inaugural event!
A few things since last post (in no particular order): for those that wish to come from Tampico Saturday night and park....there will be eyes watching and bodies patrolling the track and show area. It would be best to call one of the numbers listed above to have someone help yo

Two months away---have you got your calendar circled?
Thanks for all the interest so far. The JCAMA is really excited about putting this pull on and is already looking forward to future pulls at the park.
They are really dedicated to making this (and future pulls) a success and are putting steps in place to making pullers feel welcome, making things run smoothly, and putting on a good show.

All weights stay as is for now, as per JCAMA.
Lowering the weight for 14000 12 mph can be discussed at drivers meeting.
The idea is to give 14000 6 mph tractors another class to run in if they choose to step up in speed.

The actual flyer is on there as well...
We will have flyers to hand out at pulls and to post at businesses soon.
We want to encourage mph pullers from everywhere to attend. I know travelling is a bear, but strong participation this year will lead to bigger and better things in the future...
Thanks for all the interest so far.

Thanks for the input...was working with a group to put on a new pull this summer and when looking over the track prep equipment, they said their roller weighed 10000#.
Thought that was heavy at the time, but now it seems a little on the anorexic side...lol

Congrats to Mr. Blackbourn (wouldn't expect any less) and especially Lee Overmeyer.
Have watched Lee make a lot of passes, but that one last night was bad a**, especially at the end of the class.
Good job!

They are going to try to roll all the classes into tomorrow night.
Weather sounds perfect tomorrow, so hopefully we can knock it out!
Any issues on the Bluegrass side, call them directly.

Looks like a little chance of rain Monday night and absolutely beautiful on Tuesday.....
If you are coming from the east on SR44-it is now open, so you won't have to go around any detours in the country.
Don't forget there is added money in the two 10mph classes.
Hope to have a great crowd!
