Anybody else getting tired of every TV show pushing every liberal talking point to the point of being unwatchable. I've watched three shows tonight and each one was preaching the hot button issues of the day...always from the strong liberal viewpoints never a hint of conservative thought on any show on TV. Im going to miss Last Man Standing!!! Maybe I'm just too old and crotchety for m

The Bollinger's and Diekman (when he last ran) are quite capable of being competitive in the RN Mod class so the ability to make, the Allison's run with the V8 tractors is there at least at the RN level. One year several years ago our tractors were only beaten 3 times in RN competition and it was the Rat Poison tractor that did it. When we ran the Lt. Unlimited class on a good track R

I used to watch him years ago but it got where I couldn't watch him without getting upset. Having said that he does use more common sense than any liberal I've seen even a few moderate Democrats.

I just read a article about Madonna conveying her ignorance that if there were laws against guns we would all be safe from gun violence. How could she possibly think that outlaws would readily turn in their guns? Has she not heard that there are many many laws on the books against murder and gun usage in crime? How well do the criminals follow those laws? Delusional is the only word to descri

Supertiquer,
I was getting the impression that people are thinking that if components were adopted that everyone would HAVE to build on that type of chassis. I just was pointing out that that shouldn't be the case. Yes I agree it would be a huge mistake to make it mandatory but as I said I have no horse in this race just thinking out loud. That usually gets me into trouble! LOL

Jackme,
I like you have no horse in this race but it would appear to me that anyone that has very good setup with an ag rear could just keep it and run it incurring no additional costs whatsoever. If components were allowed it wouldn't require people to make a change it would just be an option. I don't really have an opinion one way or another on this subject just pointing out that

Treatment is the key in my mind, if they perfect the treatments they have plus develope new treatments it will make all the difference in the world. If they had come forward and been aggressive with the hydrocloquine I truly believe they could have saved a lot of lives instead of playing politics with peoples lives. One of my Dr's used it himself as well as for a lot of patients and it work

I use to really enjoy the NFL, had season tickets for 15 plus years but got so tired of obnoxious drunk fans not to mention players that couldn't control their thug like behavior off the field. I didn't like spending my hard earned money supporting their lavish wages all the while they acted like spoiled children. Stopped going to games but still watched on TV until the whole kneelin

I have to say I don't envy truckers at all having to deal with drivers cutting them off all the time. Kills me when they pass you at about 90 then slam on the breaks to make an exit. Then you see billboards all over the place advertising for lawyers going after truckers. I would bet 90 % of the time the truckers were cutoff without reasonable stopping distance. Then as JJJ said the consta

I use to worry a lot about traveling after events for two reasons the first being I was always tired and the second being what someone else mentioned, thats about the time the bars are emptying out. Now that I don't have to work the next day we most always wait and head out the next morning but I know most don't have that luxury.

I've said for many years that pullers are their own worst enemy. We spend thousands upon thousands of dollars to make more power or buy the latest greatest tires or whatever it is that gets us further down the track. The sled owners then lift another 2000 lb chunk of lead into the box or shift the box into a higher gear and we as pullers are right back where we were before we spent $50,000

GirbachA,
Seriously some of the so called Unlimiteds are making so much power now that if they make even the slightest wrong move they become dangerous to the driver as well as anyone even close to them. As I asked in our last mod meeting (and yes I got ridiculed for it) when is enough enough. This is just me thinking out loud but the tires in this class scare me...there is a limit out there som

The three events you mentioned are promoted by families that have been in the pulling game for decades so they know what it takes to put on a great show. Any time you go to a show that is the top level of any organization you are likley to see a well run good show.
I think some of the negative comments come from the shows that are state level and at the state level the amount

We used a 4000 in an econo mod tractor with about 750 HP. It worked ok except we had to run high gear in the transmission and we broke the gears after about 2 years. We took out the tractor transmission and just ran the rear and it worked great. I don't have a clue what HP you are expecting or what gear you plan to run but I'd say if to run a lower gear you should be good. We ran 750

I know that most people discount anything that isn't GN or PPLs Champions Tour but for those of us running in RN competition in In,Oh and Mi NTPA has a pretty good game going on for quite a few classes. Several classes have more hooks than they want so the points are split so people don't need to drive as much achieve a points title. On the flip side OSTPA with PPL runs all over Ohio.

The folks at Rockwell are doing a great job of growing that event, it is a great facility although the track can be a little fickle at times. We haven't been there for a few years so the track may be different now I know they work hard to put on a good event. Hope to get there again in the near future its worth the trip.

Why does that make us fools, to me that just makes him a mentally ill individual. That is not a reflection of us as a society if that were the case there would be dead people by the 10s of thousands by the numbers of guns that are owned in the USA. Liberal pundits on TV always want to put down the NRA as such a horrible entity but if you pay attention never is anyone affiliated with an un

Most days I enjoyed listening to Rush and usually agreed but not always. He was very often taken out of context by the more liberal media outlets particularly when he was poking fun. He had very rye sense of humor that they just didn't get. I liked the way he could make his points with callers he disagreed with without getting nasty.

Haven't two prominent PPL heavy alky SS pullers been trying electronic controls for several years with very limited success? People talk like this is a no Brainer but it looks, like it cost them a lot of money in broken parts not to mention the initial cost of the system they were using. Am I missing something?
