We often see celebrities and sports figures railing about how horrible police brutality is in neighborhoods of color. You never hear them talk about who kills 99% of people of color, you never see them go into these neighborhoods to rail against the people that commit these crimes. Wonder why that is, could it be because they can't blame it on "White Supremist", they would have to blame it

Two things I found interesting in this article. First she stated white people killing "us" meaning people of color. The people killed and injured in this case were white people not people of color. She also stated that the prosecution should not ask a question that they don't know the answer to, in other words, cover up the truth!

We have had one on the Feissty Farmer since 2015, it works well for Tarry because she wears a HANS device and can't turn around. Unfortunately she will always end up a foot to the left of center unless I direct her until she is about 10' from the sled. Ours is an old setup that I think I'll replace with a better unit this winter, would like to find one with a center line to make

My son lives in Northern Idaho, Western Washington and Oregon have been talking about joining Idaho because they don't like what the big cities on the coast are doing to their states. Parts of California have been going through this for years, 90% of the land mass in California would like to secede from the liberal big cities that control their lives. I'm pretty sure a lot of our pullin

I'm not naive enough to not realize that the Chinese government doesn't care about their own but even then if their goal was to show us how effective this type of warfare can be why not start it in another country, just sayin!!! Besides why would they even want to kill us off...they need someone to buy their cheap junk. Yeah yeah I know just kill enough of us to scare us into submission

JD43,
If taking us down was the objective don't you think they would have started with us instead of themselves? They lost a lot of medical professionals at the start of this debacle not to mention killing untold numbers of their population.

Just read a story that there are now 85,000 Haitian refugees headed for our southern board through South America. How long can our government let this keep happening? Even Obama said recently that the boarder crisis is unsustainable, this coming from an Uber liberal. As Obama once said off the record " Don't undestemate Bidens ability to F things up"! For once Obama was correct!

Fan2, Just saw your post. If you haven't gone to any RN mod hooks this year you missed some good pulling regardless of pulloffs. How many pulloffs have you witnessed at GN events recently? As I've stated many times I will pulloff 95% of the time I just prefer not to.
Tim's goal was to win the points in all of the weight brackets, that took a lot of effort and money. If you n

We were in a tough place trying to get one tractor down the track and the other one to the hot pits. We appreciate the help, now he can tell people he's driven a 5000 HP tractor...he can just leave out the part where it wasn't running. You folks do a great job putting your event thanks for having our class.

Logan,
They actually did something similar to this a couple of years ago at the Galot track. They had two mod tractors, Keith Wayson and Randy Davis (they invited us but our tractors were taken apart). They ran 3 heats and it was about the time to cross the finish line, I don't remember the distance they used but it was crazy how two very competitive tractors got to the finish in such dif

Another perspective, First I'm not saying they can't stop them I'm saying that on some tracks it would be slow and boring. Second they did change the mod rules at the NFMS because they were having issues stopping the mods with the PPL setup let alone the Heavy Unlimited. They went to the NTPA rules, 300 lbs less and less blower overdrive.

There are many time on our way home from events that Tarry and I talk about the mod class being embarrassed because a class like SF will have distances around 330' and for one reason or other they hammer the mods at 280'. This very thing happened at Mason,Mi in 2019, the casual fan likley doesn't understand how this can happen. Tractors making 4 times the power going 40' less

This subject seems to be never ending and I've put my 2 cents in many times and everyone seems to differ on how things should and I get that. I've pulled slow old style sleds as well as modern fast sleds, I personally very much prefer modern fast sleds.
That brings me to the track length part of this discussion. A sled operator once told me that if a mod tractor gets going over 3

Andy, Sponsorship and fans for ALL motorsports are down not just pulling. Dayton sold a bunch of their bleacher just so the place doesn't look so empty. I suppose that goes back to what Bubba was saying, I don't know because I didn't watch them then or now.

Andy, I've said many times that pullers are their own worst enemy me included but that doesn't change the fact that the sport in general has evolved to a one and done format. I think the majority of pullers prefer it that way, not all but most. One of the most enduring pullers in the mod class is Ken Miller, he has refused to pulloff for as long as I can remember. His thoughts are i

Well Mr Gump when Earnhardt passed in the grass if he destroyed a car he didn't have to pay for it his sponsors did...he didn't have to fix it his crew did. Back in the grand old days of pulling guys were running basically stock Chevy's with blowers on top making 1000 to 1200 HP. Now we run the same engines you see in NHRA cars and we not only don't have sponsors we get very

I have to disagree, almost every pass we make takes 12 to 15 seconds whether we go 300' or 370'. On the long passes we just go faster, the fans seem to like faster. 350' is a much better show than 280' any day and when you set the sled for the best tractors at 300' some of the class is at 270', that is not a good show.
