Yes and no. We have been in negotiations on 2 separate 5 die nut forming machines to help increase production and leverage our market price point against our west coast competitor on 12 point nuts below 1/2". The under head lengths required on the long bolts and the internal hex we put in the long studs mean we have to wait for a machine to come available on the market that has the proper prov

Rob, Thank you for your input. Please know that this is not meant to spark hard feelings. I simply was curious as to peoples input across the country from various perspectives. First and for most, Please let me start by saying I find the superfarm class one of the most interesting due to the nature of the close competitiveness. I can appreciate your perspective please allow me to elaborate on

What are thoughts about possibly choosing a size like 3.4-3.6 smooth bore g trim or maybe 4 inch hot side limit??something that would allow sub 2k hp, parts would live maybe some of the light pro guys limited proguys would back up a touch if was not so far back in power ??? We see people getting frustrated with advancements in power pertaining to the cost, the maintenance etc etc. I like everyon

I would like to start out by saying thank you to the Everman family and Union hose company for putting together one of the best tracks seen in the state of New York in some time. I would also like to extend a thank you to the Empire state pullers and the tech officials for doing an excellent job in running a timely show with good sled settings and efficiently running equipment down the track. Hey Jake,
just a question in regards to the billet blocks, If you are recasting blocks there could be an advantage to the red and green show maybe?? but how would it hurt the less common color brands if they are making it out of true billet? guys made billet heads for the less common color brands. The machining centers, cad/cam and vision scanning systems are changing at such a rapid rate it

Jake,
I really hate to break this to you.... You now have made not one , but multiple presumptions not facts. Get out your shovel and dig your hole a little deeper. Take your time replying this time as thinking does not seem to be your strongest attribute. And yes you can find Ryan’s number in the builder directory. We will just have to settle for our customers points championships in multip

Jake, while I agree there are multiple sides to a story, there are also often very valid reasons for a persons actions. So despite what information you choose to manifest to validate your presumptions and flap your lips about to further your personal agenda why not ask the person whom which you seem to have concern for his/her or their actions?

I have watched all the conversations on this post with more and more disappointment. The sport of truck and tractor pulling is changing in ways where it is almost hard to keep up with. Equally with that is the cost to host an event, lure a family in, provide food and entertainment for a resonable cost. While it is understandable to have a difference of opinions. What does getting on this post wi

I hope this is as well received as the last post but I doubt it. Over the 2016 pulling season we conducted a cost / power / longevity study on cast, vs recast cylinder heads 1 of each on a super farm 1 of each on a lim pro / mod turbo . The p pump limited pro ran a stock head as it was in a much harsher environment. While these heads are still in the process of coming in for winter rebuild and

It seems to be hard to keep competitors happy when you put 2 different groups in the same class, Most of the time someone thinks they are getting the raw end of the deal. The FPP crew has been in the pulling promoting gig for a long time. An observation from the outside looking in might be to bring the limited pro back to 8500 instead of 8700 (sorry limited pros ) In nytpa over the 2016 pulling s

Food for thought
1. raise the purse.
PRO: helps puller / competitor with rising costs associated with the sport.
CON: Everyday it costs more to live. Wages don't seem to follow these costs. Everyday people (talented people) are replaced by a robot to weld steel, a tractor that self drives, a google car that self drives, robots that pull shipping orders, drones that will replace the

We are looking for Pullers or builders who will be dynoing in the next few months to give us some more feed back on our oil. you would need more info to know if it were possible or not one thing to consider is a difference in rpm an 1800 hp engine at 6500 rpms with 1450# torque and an 1800 hp engine at 4000 rpms with 2400# torque. if you can turn and engine fast combust the fuel maybe ???. we are no experts our only experience has been it takes fuel to make torque. I would want to see it with my own eyes but who would

looks like you are using land and sea software on the pc screen shot?? or depac perhaps. on that dyno pass it looks like it took along time to get the tractor under load when it smoothed out finally. we try to keep rpm steady and get load to it quick and then pull a 300 rpm per second on diesel turbo alky and blown 500-600 rpm. on large turbo diesel its hard because they wont make any power unti
