That would make it the same as the PPL Profarm class. I can see why they would want to do that, it would add alot more tractors that could come run with them...

Try Wabasso Diesel Service...he's done good work with the Model 100 pumps in the past, and is reasonable as well.

I have gotten by with no issues running one group 31 battery, with a similar set up to what you are talking about. Can run several times without charging, depending on how much cranking you have to do to get the tractor started...

I used to have one of these units. About all you can do is to adjust the drive linkage so that it moves the swash plate further. I did this on mine quite a few years ago, if you adjust it so that it almost wants to move without touching the pedal, you can get about 30mph out of it, and that's about it. Made quite a bit of difference on mine....

I had the same exact thing also on a set of tires. Same story as well. Sent check, was from some business in New York City, contacted the business, and reported the guy, he finally messaged me again, and I thanked him for wasting my time, and that I turned him in, for some reason I never heard from him again...lol

I met Oz quite a few years ago when I was lucky enough to be pitted next to him at an Outlaw event. Super nice guy, and had tons of good stories to tell! He will be missed!

I have gotten blankets from both SRP, and Stroud. SRP will be a little cheaper, but in my experience, Stroud seems to be better quality. All depends on what you're looking for.

What I usually do is, run a heavy duty cable to the rear for the sled hookup, and have the inner cable of that one go into the guillotine, and then have the cable from the dash connect to the outer housing of the main cable from the rear, so that when you pull the dash cable, it pulls the main one out of the guillotine. Hope this helps!

You will have to mill the pistons some to get correct deck height if I remember correctly, and re-do your valve reliefs depending on the lift of your cam...

I did this same setup many years ago, use the big pin 407 rods (1456), and the small pin 504 Case pistons (2090, 2290), and works out well.

What are you running for RPMs? If you are running the factory pump, you may just be over speeding the pump, causing your issue. You can adapt a electric drive to run your factory pump to correct this issue. I have done several in the past, just get a electric pump drive set up, Moroso is the one I have used, and all you have to do is machine your hub on the water pump to accept the cog belt pu

I have a good used swivel fitting for this set-up. Not sure on the hole size in the brake pinion though. On the tractor I removed this set up from, they had it plumbed into the oil cooler lines off of the front of the MCV. Hope this helps. You can call or message me @ 507-329-3406 if you are interested in the swivel fitting.

Do you know the name of the guy with the 560 IH with the RD motor called "Dirtslinger II"? I built that tractor quite a few years ago, and was curious how he's been doing with it, as I lost all my info on who I had sold it to....
Thanks!!.......Tony Hassebroek

I would make a thicker floater, if it was mine....they had a tendency to warp the floater anyhow, with a thicker floater, and the crower style disks, should be a pretty good set-up......just my opinion.....

Save yourself some money, and just install a ring & pinion from a SMTA through 450.....it will speed it up considerably, and won't cost near as much....although, you will definetely have to spend some money in the input shaft area, give up on the T/A, as you won't get it to hold with a 466 ahead of it.....
