I used an Aeromotive A1000 12v pump with their adjustable regulator for years with no issues at all. I got mine through Summit along with the AN fittings and hose. It was feeding a 500cc A pump and was more than enough. I ran it at 55 psi.

Tractors were still relateable to the farm then, and the common farmer or individual that wanted to build a puller could. Now they are so far out of the realm of possibilities to build for most because its turned into a money game, whoever has the most wins and you need a ton of money to even be competitive. Add the fact that these "tractors" are now only sheet metal and engine block, i think the

It would probably be cheaper to buy a P-pump block and go through the work to swap internals than buy that pump from Columbus!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your dad. I've had a little work done through the years by them, and they were always glad to help and very nice people. It'll be extra difficult at this time of year and also with the passing of your uncle Dan not all that long ago. Sorry to hear of your troubling times.

Think we're going to machine some off the shoulder of the drum like Farmers Fun said, and also take some off the side of the gear and that should give us enough clearance.

Who makes a collar shift setup for these? Is it as simple as removing the drum and cage and replacing it with a collar and fork assembly? Is grinding an issue without the synchronizers? Does this setup work with the factory linkage? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm really interested in doing this.

I have a Mexican 4455 and started putting the transmission back together with a 7 1/2 gear in the 5th gear spot, and the synchronizer drum on the top shaft is hitting the new gear on the counter shaft since it is now bigger. Anyone else encounter this problem when installing the same setup? Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated!

What about an oblong hole, say 6 or 8 inches long? Do you make a series of adjoining round holes and smooth up the inside as best as possible?

We did that years ago with my dads 70, everything swaps out fine. If I remember correctly, he plugged the bleeder that goes out the top of the pump manifold and bleeds them out the side where its supposed to be on a 70. If you want the late style bleeder, you need the pump cover, check valve and sediment bowl with the fitting for the return. You going be pulling your 70?

high dollar hooker "hooker" has a pulling meaning behind it. Slutty and sloppy have no tractor pulling meaning behind it at all. But you are right on everyone has a choice of what is right or wrong. There choice, but there choice don't mean nothing when the fair they are pulling at sends them packing because of these stupid names

Cool video and a catchy tune. I searched some of their other stuff and I like it, and that's coming from a dedicated metal guy. Lol. "Who cares" is right, pulling has just been exposed to whole new crowd. Where are these guys from and what is their connection to ag and pulling?
