Let me know when you build a 30k plus tractor and only pay to put on a show and get no payout. No one wants to go put on a show for someone else to make money on at your expense. Not saying we only care about making money but im not going to just go pull at my expense for nothing.

35 degrees will be to much timing for 3000rpm. It will likely run better at 28-30. Your best option may be a 2.8 gt42 or 45 or a s300 based unit. Which also depends on your cam, manifolds, head etc. With no water injection its going to be tough of the engine and the turbine wheel. You will likely see 1800 degrees egt and flame.

FVP makes tighter housings than the 1.01 for the GT42&45. They machine borg warner housings to get down to a .90A/r. 3x3 will be very hard to run at 3000rpm with out water. Also going to take a decent amount of fuel to run on the big end. And timing and all of these variables are going to depend on intake, cam and compression etc.

Generally more fuel cools it down so less water is needed. But less fuel makes more power but the sode affect is they run hotter. So more water injection is needed.trial and error or a dyno is best to get it right.

You need to document the max egt down the track. Ideal egt is 1300, my 456 i run 42 ounces with 3 nozzles to keep it cool sith a 3x3 but i only run 540 cc. 1 nozzle for sure will not ne enough. Dont go crazy with timing either, the 456 doesnt care for huge timing ussually right between 30 and 35 degrees depending on the set up

Border line pulling is the is one of the only places that doesnt allow map grove turbos. Andy doesnt have a belt driven fan so why do you need side panels? I have never seen a pull that requires side panels with an electric fan in improved. Andy has a seat belt, wheelie bars and rops. Doesnt matter any ways Ben allows slugs for 2.8 smooth bore. And how about diesel pick ups spinning 5000 rpm are

So who is going to tech? I hear all the time that people will tech an no one does. No classes at all. The truck pullers are the only ones that get teched and thats far and few between as well. Safety equipment should be mandatory and every pull should have at least on person who knows the rules for safety and class rulls. Someone is going to get hurt when tractors are running well over 3000 rpm o

First off, Dillan doesn't have anything to do with the pull, or how its ran.
Second off, Roger has done a very good job advertising these pulls. And the Glenwood pull was smooth as butter.
Third off, have any of you guys even talked to Dillan or Roger in person?
Fourth off, I have never seen an improved class that allows cut tires or non factory p7100 pumps. If you want to build a P pump

I went to a specialist machine shop and they bored my front damper to fit the 7.8 nose and I had them make me a custom sleeve for the 401 front cover and seal. Had the whole front converted to a 401. As far as the 456 with the 6 bolt crank my stock balancer and 401 seal sleeve fit right on. I just had to have the crank gear changed to a 401 gear

Farm stock is not strict around here. If you looked under 90 percent of the tractors in farm should fall into improved.

Nothing for a bolt in. Best option for a farm tractor is an old h1c holset off a 91 Cummins dodge. Not to hard to make it work just need to the flange from the dodge down pipe and make a feed line adapter

Just picked up a raptor pump 45psi adjustable. Would like to make a half inch line draw straw from the top of the tank and run it like you stated. Andy Keyes is thinking 20 degrees would run better for my compression. As far as the injectors try suggested 5x.18s.

That pressure was at engine off pump on. Checked it last night. They told me the stock lift pump would be enough. Not sure on pressure because I've been told 20psi 80psi 10psi. I hope I didn't wreck the pump...

Don't know what's going on with this thing. Runing a wimer 350 cc pump 5x.18 injectors 3lm turbo and genesis head. No leak anywhere runs 10psi fuel pressure bfg powersavors 20.8 38s 3200rpn and I Ran at 31 degrees timing and falls on its face in 10000 in 6th gear... turned my timing back down to 27, was at 24 before and it ran a lot harder then. At a loss.

I have my old set up I would be willing to sell price. Have either a tw5 exhaust manifold or the 9600 manifold and riser. Exhaust pipe to work with the 8600 exhaust hole with a holset h1c 18.5 exhaust housing and 56mm inducer. Works great, going to a different engine so I wont be needing that stuff anymore.
