I use a schied diesel regulator on the return side of my pump(ppump). It’s just a simple inline regulator. Line from supply pump, to 3 way ball valve, to pump. Then the regulator on the outlet of the pump then line to tank. Injectors return directly to tank to

At 670i engine will have the big pin rods in it. 1.75” wrist pins. Just get a set of pistons made if you have to. Mark Gettinger probably has rods and can help with anything else +1 (765) 977-8348

I had a set of tool steel dlc coated flat tappets custom built at trend performance. Then Paired with a no limit tool steel cam for my Allis. 200lb seat pressure. 5000rpm 65psi boost, no issues

That all depends on timing. I can run 1800-1900 all day the the base of the turbo and not melt stock pistons with 35deg of timing.

Definatily heat treat rods and get good rod bolts, arp or similar. Running 800-900 hp on big pin rods no problems yet.
