I’ll take it one step further with clubs having Pullers as executive board members of an organization. There should be Pullers as class reps but should not be the ones on an executive board. They have too much power twisting their priorities onto the promoters instead of what benefits the club and the promoters events. That causes classes to die just the same.

When that new IH gets dialed in it will be tough, end of last season I think 4-5 different guys drove it just so it could be at pulls to support the class due to other personal commitments. 466 3x3 and good parts all around it. There will be another Hart’s powered 466 running with WNY next season being built that should keep all those cummins lovers at bay. Best class in the country right now Ian

Don’t some or most organizations require you to be within 1000 lbs of the weight class? I’d say that a ton depends on the sled and track. If miles per hour and ground speed with either an extra gear or a couple hundred rpm matter when a pan drops and the sled hits fast VS getting heavy starting sleds moving out of the hole and hooking to the track to lug the last few feet at the end of a run are

Not to knock the efforts of expanding the fan experience but when people use their hard earned money to pay for their family to attend an event shouldn’t the entertainment be what going on on the track or in the pits? What parent would want to be sitting with their two of three kids on bleachers trying to relax and watch some pulling action while all they get screaming in their ear is kids wantin

They're kind of screwing the LLSS guys. They are scheduling them to pull Saturday afternoon, then they have to load up, and fly to another pull that was already scheduled for Saturday night. Would've been nice to have the courtesy to just let them come in and run on Sunday.
Wow, really? Apparently you are not a member of the WNY Pro Pulling Series. Their competition

Only being involved anymore as a fan of the class and a promoter in the north is that there is a huge disconnect from the Kentucky guys and the rest of the LLSS clubs across the northern states. Looking at for example the BOB series their top dog tractor class in that region is the LLSS. That's the grand finale class that they hook and promote. There are no other outlets or pulls except GN P

I can't stand when people don't put a location. There are deals to be had on this page and I'm always looking for things I need but if i knew at least what state it was in would save me a ton of time rather than googling area codes.

I picked up most of the parts, no piece of cast bigger than half of a golf ball and a few pieces of aluminum. The rest was shrapnel bits and pieces that looked like somebody swept out underneath a milling machine.

Obviously you have no idea Mr. "Scoop" on what it takes to keep a track in shape for almost 140 hooks in a day of top level truck and tractor pulling. 10 classes in 12 hours with pullloffs, breakage, and track prep between sessions is pretty darn good

Way too many variables. Depends on track conditions number 1 and the sled you are hooking to. That ain't even talkin what kind of gap you have between gears, what kind of power you are making. If you blow up the tires and run your big gear but only turn 3900rpm and accomplish X mph VS. air down drop a gear, grab ahold of the track run 4700 rpm and end up at your same mph.

Can't wait to get a taste of NTPA Grand National pulling in Langford. It will be great to see all of the Traveling LLSS series tractors that make the trip too! The Empire State pullers have been putting on some good action so far this season. WNY has much to offer for pullers and fans making their first trip to the area. Plenty of great places to eat and about a 45 minute drive to Niagara Fa

I talked to a driver that runs a super modified and a mini and asked about the gearing to weight ratio between the two machines and he said the big tractor is geared for 140 mph wheel speed and the mini is geared for 160mph

Before I make comment I will just say no matter what if somebody wants to spend the money and build to the edge of rules they will do it. Now as far as the fear of cubic inches the 470 rule won't ever have a reason to increase. If adjustments need to be made to this combination that can happen with the chargers or something bolt on. WNY has been hooking tractors at 315, 370, 410, and 470( or

Jake thanks for the review! As far as Chris Cole's situation it was goofy. An air line broke on the sled, they got it fixed quickly but they shut Chris down not knowing how long it would be. They were about to call the last tractor to the track when the team advised officials he was running so they brought him back out, I got him hooked and when he was trying to idle down into gear to pull i

I want to add another big thanks to Logan Thomas and crew with Richard Love's Decision Maker Sleds. The Genral Tire sled was spot on making exciting consistent classes. The sled made the show, even the light classes were able to holeshot and get some major ground speed down the track but stop them dead! In my opinion it was better than the years using the Carlyle sled that comes out of the h
