The NTPA, PPL and Outlaws monitor all social media. If you don't believe that they are looking at this site along with others then I would be very surprised. And if they aren't then why worry?

I don't hate the NTPA, I care about pulling and the NTPA product falls under that category. So don't tell me who/what I think. And it's not my job to call the NTPA to tell them to fix their website. It should have been right BEFORE they launched it. If you want to pretend that everything is great with pulling well good for you, I choose to address issues that need ( in my opi

I'm trying to find results from BG and it's almost impossible. How do they manage to do everything wrong every time. Just amazing. I know others Say that they are not having any problems, well good for them. I am. The goal should always be to make things better not worse. And STOP listening the pulls alphabetically, list by DATE. Come on this is pretty basic stuff.

The NTPA has a new web site. The one thing that I don't care for that the results are listed by alphabetic order when it would be easier to navigate if results were listed by the date of the event. And I couldn't get the " most recent event " to work at all.

Bob, I couldn't agree more. The Bowling Green show is a one of a kind event. There is nothing like in the pulling world. Jake and myself along with Harold and Joe Card have been honored to take the photos for the program ( shout out to Bryan Lively, great job year after year) for several years. We have been able to get a small look at the " behind the scenes " view of what makes this show

I also think the class has huge potential, and yes some of the best pullers hook in that class. I did notice that the box topped out at about a 125 feet down the track and with the vehicles not being able to get up and start running and gather some momentum most never got any speed coming off the starting line. And another thing that I found interesting was that this was the only class to hook b

Interesting question, after the Initial cost what is a reasonable budget to keep a DSS running for an entire season? I would think that DSS and a PS would be at the top of food chain for budgets. More HP more maintenance, and we should all be thankful to the teams that are willing and able to make those classes happen.

Lewis even then those vehicles were the best, strongest in the nation. It's always about HP which translates in speed down the track. Bowling Green is and always been bringing the best together in one place. They never built their show on 55HP Super M vs John Deere 720s.

IF we want grow the sport it has to be exciting and entertaining, a slow sled is not what the fans want to see. A slow sled does not translate to excitement. A fast sleds that let's the high HP vehicles get up and moving and then brings to a fast safe stop is what sells. And I'm not really sure what you can do to improve todays sleds other than a sensor to monitor box movement relate

I do agree that the sport does poorly at promoting the next event, that it's a points race for a championship, that there are other events that they can attend. That there are certain rules for each class. It's not the circus that just shows up out of nowhere and leaves in the morning to who knows where. Every event should always have open free pits, puller/ fan interaction is one are

While I agree that marketing can improve where is the money to do this coming from? All 3 major organizations are working with limited staff and budgets. Just to wish/want something does not make it happen. And again where is the money coming from to raise purses, build marketing teams and take the sport to the next level. If memory serves me one of the major sponsor/owner has backed away. O

I am amazed to listen to the people that claim that the sport has not become a major motorsports league because it hasn't been marketed right. They just say if the sport was promoted better there would be growth. They make it sound like the NTPA, PPL and the Outlaws just haven't tried hard enough to promote the sport. Or have done it the wrong way. If they were in charge it would rais

NASCAR is taking seats out, not in. The sport is in decline and having one style body ( brand loyalty) is one aspect that is part of the problems. Chevy vs Ford vs Dodge was one of the main attractions.

I think a couple things that would be different is that there would be no multi charger classes, 2 is the cubic inches in all tractor classes would be limited to 540 or less. Mods would be capped at 3 engines and sleds would have electronics, such as box vs groundspeed monitored. Computer driven engine control would be allowed.

That is true that the predominant brands are certainly shared between red and green, so to allow any hood on a JDBB disguised as anything other than a John Deere is not fooling anyone. By allowing cross dressing you have diminished the effort that puller/builders put in getting an "off" brand to compete. The NTPA is responsible for taking away the brand loyalty that was the backbone of the hood

I am not against the component chassis, rather the rule that comes along with it. The " any sheet metal any engine" rule. Strike that out and I'm ok with components. And you are right, the OEM chassis has a weight break of 300 lbs I believe

The reality is the DSS or PS can't run in every GN event. First they won't stay together for that many hooks. If you don't believe me look at any 2 day event that has DSS and look at the numbers from the first session to the second. I really enjoy both PS and DSS however you can't change those facts.

We are seeing decline in numbers in almost every class.
However when you add up the total numbers in HF, SF, Lt. PS. 4.1, 5.0 and PS. I think the total numbers are very healthy. So the question is does pulling have to many recently started
classes that a drawing numbers away from the legacy classes? In my opinion there should only be 2 classes that are offered at the national. They should be

I used to think that until I downloaded the Outlaws app. It sets the standard for how to do it right. In order of best to worst for me is Outlaws, then PPL and last NTPA. I'm strictly talk web site user friendly.
