My Opinion--Pulling Magazines - 15 years ago
After reading the article about GMS that Dave Dann wrote for "The Puller" for their 2009 January magazine, I started to think about the publications that the sport of truck and tractor has to offer. I’ll start in alphdeticale order; "Full Pull" Magazine- from cover to cover the Carol/Photo Joe publication has without a doubt the best photo’s in any publication. Joe always does a great job on gby Dick Morgan - Forum

My Opinion- The January 2009 "Puller" articles - 15 years ago
Just received my January issue of the “Puller” in the mail. It was their 40th anniversary issue. The NTPA 2008 Hall of Fame inductees were announced, Rodalyn Knox the “Country Girl” was inducted along with Bob Smith of the “Three Bears” FWD team. I find it interesting and gratifying that both the Knox and Smith families are still heavily involved in the sport today. There were also articles on thby Dick Morgan - Forum

My Opinion-- the Super Farm classes at the 2009 Hoosier Invitational - 15 years ago
To add a little more excitement to the Super Farm class at the Cloverdale 2009 Hoosier Invitational I would like to see the format for the finals in the class changed. I think it would be exciting to see the NTPA/Outlaws SF’s and the PPL/ITPA SF’s run heads up in one class for the finals on Saturday night. I realize that the PPL/ITPA SF’s have an advantage with their current rules, however I thinby Dick Morgan - Forum
Shortening WinterNationals Show Length (originally posted February 22, 2003) - 15 years ago
(originally posted February 22, 2003)February 22, 2003 The following list consists of a few suggestions for speeding up the ATPA WinterNationals. These ideas are not exclusive to the WinterNationals, many of the suggestions are for truck and tractor pulling in general. The “pull duration” / “pulling action” ratio need to be increased if truck and tractor pulling is ever to grow as a sby Dick Morgan - Opinion

My Opinion - Gordyville 2009 - 15 years ago
The Midwest Winter Nationals 2009 was a great success. In spite of the bone chilling weather, there seemed to have been very few no-show’s. In fact the crowds on both Friday and Saturday were SRO. Let’s start with the down side of the pull; 1; The show ran a little to long, I know with that many classes and that many tractors it does take time to get everyone down the track, however I wonderby Dick Morgan - Forum
My Opinion, the new Limited Pro Stock Class - 15 years ago
The new Limited Pro Stock class that the Outlaws have, and the NTPA will sanction in 2009 has the potential to be a very interesting and exciting class. I think that the class will grow at a rapid rate , and within 5 years the class will be one of, if not the largest class in tractor pulling. Here is why I think that: 1. With 640 cubic inch rule this opens the door for the Super Farm pby Dick Morgan - Forum

(originally posted on July 4, 2002) The Internet has become the most useful innovation that has happened in the world of communication since the telephone. Sponsorship (originally posted on 1-19-01) - 15 years ago
(originally posted on 1-19-01) In the world of sports, do we sometimes fail to see the big picture? Are we just interested in what’s good for us and not what’s good for the entire sport? For instance, when the ATPA decided to limit the opened-body trucks, I was sure this rule would benefit only a few full-body trucks. Then when I looked at the whole picture, I realized that their goal was tby Dick Morgan - Opinion
