I believe that Boxler Dairy Farms have at least 2500 dairy cows and another 2500 calves and heifers. Well over 5000 animals.

I think that the NTPA needs to get a feel on how many 4.1 tractors are willing to run the GN circuit. With the NTPA's partnership with BG I believe this is a smart move. Without a solid commitment of enough vehicles the class will not get off to a healthy start. If BG opened up the class to every 4.1 thats wants to hook there would be 80 of them. Most will skip most, if not all of the regul

Not sure how SF plays into the NTPA Outlaws alliance. Not sure if they plan on running events together, if so the NTPA SF and the Outlaws SF are to different vehicles.

My guess is three fold. First there are more 4.1 than Lt.PS. It seems like the 4.1 tractors are offered in more states and regions than Lt.PS. Two, I believe that the 4.1 class is more willing to travel the national schedule than Lt.PS. Three, the transition from SF to 4.1 is much easier, in fact I believe that the the SF will be eliminated from the GN schedule in 2027.

You have to admit that the purchase of PPL by IHRA is at least good for very interesting speculation.

I guess that we all can go down the negativity road, however it would be interesting to see in a couple years how the IHRA PPL organization fairs. I'm sure that if it goes great then everyone will say " I knew it was a great idea " , 20-20 hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I'm not sure if it's a merger or an alliance. This statement was taken off the Outlaws website. Does not sound like the Outlaws are in any great hurry to give up their independence.
It is critically important to emphasize that there will be no changes to competition structures, rules, schedules, event formats, or day-to-day operations for either group during the 2026 season or at an

The NTPA is not going away anytime soon, they have great leadership, strong safety rules and a core of dedicated members. The NTPA is, at some level a member run organization. The NTPA badge speaks of decades of truck and tractor pulling. The NTPA has something that (at present) IHRA doesn't have, more national level classes to offer to promoters.
What the IHRA/PPL has is a single owne

The 2026 pulling season will certainly be a very interesting year to say the least. Here are my predictions: the NTPA and the Outlaws alliance will amount to a few co-sanctioned events. Full Pull Entertainment will buy the Outlaws. 2026 will be the last year of the NTPA sanctioning the SF at the GN level. The Fendt Series will be a success with pullers chasing the big payouts. Outlaws will change

Yes, but how many Outlaws classes can hook at NTPA BG event, not many. TWD, LSS, DSS.

I don't believe the alliance between the NTPA and Outlaws will really amount to much. Here's what I think might happen, a few co-sanctioned event, however there are only a few classes that they both have the same rules. The Outlaws will not ever give up their independence. The alliance with PPL and Outlaws was a tricky one to start with. With the PPL western series in Outlaws land there

What an interesting year, maybe one of the most interesting years I can remember. And most of the news is off the track, yes there are interesting stories surrounding the pullers, however the big news is ownership and rules. Let's start , and please add to this list. In no particular order, the sale of PPL to IHRA, the recent announcement of a alliance between NTPA and Outlaws, the 4.1 clas

Lewis, if you think that there's a market for Grampa pulling his Farmall M against the neighbors JD 720 then you're living 40 years ago. If that would work then pulling world be doing it. The fan of today wants to be entertained, whether you like it or note the where pulling has evolved to.

So I guess that you don't want any corporate sponsorship in pulling. I would ask the leadership of PPL, NTPA and Outlaws how they feel about that idea? Or for that matter how state pulling also would like that?

Under_pressure. Why are so concerned how someone else spends their money? I'm thankful that pullers keep raising the bar in vehicle appearance and overall show quality. The people that want to keep pulling as it was 40 years ago amazes me. Everything is better today than 40 years ago, sleds, vehicles, speed, everything. Once again, why do you care how someone else spends their money.

I'm not sure if the high dollar events will hurt pulling. Pullers Love to pull their vehicles. It's in their blood, they built them to hook them. I look at state level results throughout the season and a lot of the time I will see not just one, rather several national level truck, tractors and mods in the results page of a state event. It will be the same with the Fendt series. The high

Interesting post, lots of solid points. I have also wondered "what is the level" anyway? I think that pulling is evolving with new ownership for PPL, a new high dollar series, the alliance with NTPA and Outlaws. However the next level should be about the fan's experience, the paying customer. It's pretty basic, start on time, run a fast run paced exciting show, good lighting, good a

Exactly, it's an elite series, the top runners in each class. Nothing against the pullers that have a smaller budget, however this series is not for that level of vehicles. It's like saying " why can't I run my late model" at a NASCAR race. If their vehicle meets all the requirements for their class then they can hook with those very same trucks and tractors at a GN or CT event.

MSG, I am not talking about the techs that do the everyday heavy listing, it's at the top of the food chain. I'm talking about writing rules and then a few months later changing, amending or explaining the rules. The most glaring issue was the LSS debacle at BG a few years ago. That situation was text book on how to do everything wrong.

Great question, I think that the past leadership has been talked about over and over, time to move on. I also think the present leadership is doing a great job of keeping the NTPA on solid ground. Ned, Vaughn and Gregg are making changes to the leadership structure that has been needed for sometime. They have streamlined the layers of management and are making clear and decisive decisions. I really don't understand the "big money has ruined the sport" statement. Pullers build their vehicles within the confines of the rules. Pulling is just another form of motorsports, it's has to be eye appealing and exciting. There are classes and organizations that the smaller budget pullers can compete in. I for one am amazed at the craftsmanship in today's ttrucks and tractors.

The point isn't the NTPA 4.1 coming to your show, rather the Outlaw 4.1 being able to go the NTPA GN events . The ability for the 4.1 class to hook at Bowling Green is a huge draw. If you don't understand that then obviously you have never been to BG.

Granted the Outlaws box turbo is a reliable turbo. However that's not the question, the issue for me is the puller that wants to run in another organization, that's the question.
