I was always told on your first question there to use a jd 4320 oil filter , if you remove the filter you have all sorts of room to get the pump off, being the filter is mounted vertical rather than horizontal.

I also think there’s two different types of disk material used in them for clutch disks . I want to say like a fiber with brass in it and a paper one, you want all of the paper ones in it .

A 3lm 33 would be a direct replacement, they can be obtained through fair valley or scheid.

Can the 8.1 block be bored for 5” pistons? It seems 5” bore and stock stroke would be 600 ci.

Do they match the looks of original 30 series fenders pretty well? About ten years ago they were no longer available and were quite expensive .

What kind of power can you get out of a 10.1 liter with bolt on parts such as fuel and air? What’s best size turbo to run on one at 3000 rpm?
Do the cylinder heads have the small 7mm injector tip holes like the 8.1 that need drilled out for bigger 5x25 injectors ?

Compression is going to be pretty low with a 55 series head and 40 series pistons, may need ether to start. To run regular injectors in the 55 series head you want to drill the injector holes to 9 mm

According to tractor data, 4440 is 14.9:1. The 4450 is 15.8:1. The 4455 is 16:1. Depends on the head and pistons used. You can get a 55 series low ring piston, like out of a 4960, that you can cut valve reliefs in if need be. I’ve been told compression is too low if you try to run a 55 series head and 40 series pistons and bowl design not right for injectors .

You may have to make a new water manifold or cut yours and angle it towards the center. I had one made to fit my 4430 with a s300 turbo so it would clear .

Not always…..depends on track. I’ve got some Firestone 151’s untouched that will beat top cut radial all trac’s on the right track. The right track is a wet red clay track.
