I was just over @ the Eastern Extreme site and found this video from 1998. I remember hearing about it, but never seen it until now.

Jim, I have trouble picturing you in green (of any shade)...................but good luck if you decide to.
I may have to re-consult your rules but I was a little unclear as to whether you guys allowed component, and what the specifics were. It's good to see that you guys have progressed and allow the ability to build something that makes sense and is probably alot more cost effective whi

NO, it's the oppositte. 10 finals on a 20 rear will speed you up. Likewise, 20 ring and pinion (with some machine work) in a 10 rear will do the same.
20 finals on a 10 rear will slow you down.

You mean a frame like I have been running on mine for the last 5 years (and we've bounced it as hard as you would want to!!)? Send me a PM or leave an email address and I'll tell you about it. No issues to date.

Been there, done that! Sucks, doesn't it?
Scott Beckett (OH), GMS (OH), Adam Beihl/TPP (OH), Lemkes (WI) (all listed on the links page of this site under builders/suppliers). There are likely others, depends where you live. This is not a cheap option no matter who you go with, but you will be buying durability.

It is not a "belief", it's a fact (not necessarily a good one!). You almost always pay more for the used Deere than the IH. Just like the automotive market, there is always a brand that commands a little more than the others. Why is that such a big deal?
Also, like an earlier post mentioned, pulling parts for an IH are generally a little cheaper to buy as well. How is that a bad thing fo

The reply with "IF" was not for you, it was for the redman 1466 post. "....if case ih had that 36 inch rotor ain't a thing could touch it." I believe was the statement I am referring to.
The stock issue makes no difference to me. I couldn't afford any of it anyways!

Yes, they have a pit area that will house all the vehicles (one building with heat), and you never have to go outside to get to the track!! They have the typical indoor warming stations as well. The only time your are driving your tractor is when you are pulling the sled. They take you everywhere with skidsteers.
I would HIGHLY recomend going to this pull. Great group that puts it on, and to

Did I hear "if" ?? (....."if case ih had that 36 inch rotor ain't a thing could touch it.")
That's exactly right, IF. That's all that needs to be said.
........on another note, fair point about investing in the stocks for said company. Hindsight.

If I'm not mistaken, New Holland was the true innovator of the rotary combine, not IH.
And it appears that between the Cat Lexion (Claas??) and the New Holland of today, that the IH design has taken a back seat.
Of course, nobody ever said Deere had the greatest combine.
Also, the seam in the windshield was nothing, it was the curved glass that created a glare at night that was th

Happened last August. It is the "Mining For Dollars" CIH of Ken Measel that they own now.
I have heard that the Deere chassis belongs to Lawyers (Rapped Up) now, but I am not certain of that. Could be just a rumor.

You are right about the brands, look at the Agco line-up, how many lines are under that umbrella? A common engine for all could be happening one day! I hate to say it, but that day is drawing closer all the time.

So that's exactly like the number of Red ones vs Green ones in the SS classes then. That's the trouble today with not many other highly competetive colours.

So most Deere's look the same (cookie cutter). Wow. That's kinda like the last 35 years of IH having almost exclusively a 1066 with Hypermax equipment ("oh look, there's another 1066 coming down the track. WOW, how original!"), but they have really shook it up the last few years wth that box called the MX series hood. How original. Talk about cookie cutter.

Couldn't agree more on the needle rear end. And do the WHOLE kit (large side gears as well as the small spiders & cross shaft, including the bronze backing washers), not just the half a$$ kit, because you will regret that too!!!!

Tim Engler is also extremely adept at this. I have his kit in my 4010 rear, and it is absolutely a world better than it was!! He will tell you everything that you need to know on how to get it done also. Check for his contact info under links and then builders on this site.

Try these links (switches only). The first one is probably the better idea, as the second is more of an industrial type supplier and not automotive related. Would be pretty easy to put a light of your choosing inline with this. Hope this helps guys.

Maybe you should go talk to those guys from the East when you go to Gordyville, you would be surprised how genuinely nice and helpful they are. It should also be noted those tractors are running the dinosaur like "A" pump and can whoop a$$. Great guys for anyone who's a Blue fan. They do their homework, and it pays off, what's wrong with that?

You will find a huge difference in rolling resistance if you go with and external setup. We went from barley able to pull with an ATV while in Tow, to being able to push it around by hand.
Use Engler calipers (expensive, but worth every penny!!), they work awesome, and are necessary to provide the proper clamping force needed. He will sell you the hats (aluminum or steel) as well as the rotors
