We made our own hats and discs, but the calipers came from Engler. They are not cheap, but trust me, they work great and I couldn't find anything else to provide that clamping force. You can buy hats and discs from Engler, or there are several other builders that sell them as well. Check out 'Builders' under the 'Links' section of this site.

Do yourself a favour and spend a few more $$ and put outboard brakes on now. Been there done that. The problem would be yes, the o-rings are going to swell, and you will have more brake drag than you imagine even under ideal conditions. We switched this year and I can't believe the difference! Could not push around the shop before, and now one person pushes it. Imagine the hp being robbed un

Every year, the board seems to get a little further off centre with their decisions!! Last year we saw massive changes for Pro Stock, only to be renegged after much hollering. Will the same thing happen with this sheetmetal rule?? They hit a home run with the Light Pro class, something that has been needed for a while now. Classes like this are what helps feed and keep the Pro Stock class at the

Couldn't agree with you more, Robert!! This is just plain idiotic. I have been quoted on here before as saying someday we'll be running a common block and head on all tractors (which I loath to imagine!!), and we're getting a little closer all the time I guess. I am sure there are some who will always refer to us as purists, but if you aren't gonna run an OE engine for that ma

We have cam driven stock oil pump running @ around 4500-4700 rpm peak and have had no major trouble yet. Running 15w40 conventional oil. Had one main show the slightest bit of an issue, but no damage, all others good after 2 seasons running (approx 60 runs).

Thanks for the info, Curt. I am from Southern Ontario working in Shippensburg for a while and would love to make some of the pulls down here & see your guys stuff. You might remember meeting my brother a couple of years ago at the Keystone Nationals. He had the 4010 called 'Green Reaper'. Your dealership is just down the road from here in Chambersburg, correct? Maybe I could get down th

If they are for a JD, you can use the hub caps from their lawn tractors, as I'm sure you can for other brands as well. Jd has a couple of different logos and/or wordings to choose from. Consult your local JD dealer on these. I can't recall the size, but measure the opening and talk to them.

Jim & Dirk, do you know if George does 38" wheels? Have had different guys ask me about this since we got ours from Mid West. It would be nice to know if we had a Canadian builder that made them.

4010 and 4020 are virtually the same in appearance. Same clutch housing and all bolt patterns etc. are the same. 4020 tractor as a whole is on average 1000 lbs heavier. All castings and trans gears are slightly heavier, as well as the final drives. Ring and Pinion is a different ratio, as are the finals. 4020 R/P + 4010 finals = 18% faster than stock. 4010 R/P + 4020 finals = 13% slower than stoc
