Photos from the Elnora ORV event at link below. The folks in Daviess Co. Indiana did a good job of getting track in order for the pull considering the rain that fell overnight before the pull, was probably the best LLSS track Ive seen in some time. Elnora, IN Photosby Bryan Lively - Forum

Per event promoters John Pitt and Larry Gorham, following the Mid-South show on the 24th in Franklin, KY there will be an unsanctioned 2.6 Diesel truck class following the rules used at the recent TS Performance Diesel event. Entry is 30 dollars, and the purse follows the structure for a "B" Level purse in the MSPA, $500 paid 8 places. If there are any questions call John at 615-419-4369 or Larryby Bryan Lively - Forum

Re: My Opinion---The NTPA's Pay per View--- - 12 years ago
This is a great idea whose time has come, and I applaud the NTPA for stepping forward in this respect. BUT, it does need some tweaking, and much of what Dick said was correct. I encourage the NTPA to find someone to provide some commentary, realizing that finding someone that is able to continuously talk for five hours straight about pullers/pulling/plug sponsors/pulling/you get the picture is aby Bryan Lively - Forum
Re: Speed Limit - 12 years ago
Youre forgetting the amount of horsepower between the ears of the driver. A novice driver in a speed limit class on the highest hp tractor will find it hard to get first place, and Im talking 8mph and below. The best drivers with the highest hp tractor, even they hear the horn from time to time. YES, all things being equal, that being driver, balance, track position, tires, etc, and the only vby Bryan Lively - Forum
Re: Speed Limit - 12 years ago
I didnt mean to come off as condescending or a smart---. It just seemed that the idea of the speed limit puller be it a antique or farm stock was being smeared. My thought is this: Speed limit pulling, matched with rpm and tire limits, is a means to level the playing field. Let me give the scenario as it plays out: The Butch Wood Memorial 7250 King of the Hill class at Tunica, MS has a speby Bryan Lively - Forum
Re: Speed Limit - 12 years ago
Still Sucks: You have caught me in a good mood this morning! First of all, what youre not getting is that speed, tire cut/size, and rpm are the great equalizers here, how much money you spend to operate in those parameters is entirely up to the puller. Yes $ can come into play, but from my vantage point, it whats you do with what you have! Some folks don't have the deep pockets to runby Bryan Lively - Forum
Re: Speed Limit - 12 years ago
Speed limit pulling is more like a chess match than anything, and I sure as heck don't see any sissies doing it. You take away momentum like you have in a class without a speed limit and it makes every part of the equation (gear, balance, track reading, etc) that much more critical. Of course, what do I know, I've only seen about 2500 hooks this winter of this stuffby Bryan Lively - Forum

TS Performance Diesel Pull - 12 years ago
Just got in from this event, well run, ran through 60 2.6 trucks in four hours with about 7 driveshaft/u-joint incidents on that track, other track had 3.0, SS trucks, SF, and PS. 14 in SF class, 2 in PS, (Schroedl (sp?) and Ed Orrall, Jr). Sorry no results, think Schroedl won PS and Miley won SF if I remember right. 3.0 class puts on a really nice show. Started at about 6:30 last truck wentby Bryan Lively - Forum

It was a spin off of Antique Power. Spring or Fall of 93 was the first issue. I have a storage unit where I keep them haven't had a chance to put a set together yet! Been reading some of them, lots of interesting stuff and much of it relevant for antiques today.by Bryan Lively - Forum

Re: Midsouth Murray, Ky pull? - 13 years ago
Weather is looking decent here for the weekend, small chance tomorrow for rain and little or no chance until Sunday here. The pull is a MidSouth event, with TWD, 8 supers, 10 Pro and Super Farms on the docket. Really depends on the speed at which things dry out over there and that part of the state has gotten the brunt of the rain. Rain date is May 7th. I will try to post here any info I getby Bryan Lively - Forum
Re: witch class takes the most brains over money to be competitive? - 13 years ago
Good thread. Speed and tire size are the two great equalizers. My observation is that anything below 6 mph on a limited tire is where u find driving and balance to be extra critical. I have had opportunity to see some good drivers and there's a select group in antiques that you stick on any antique tractor and they can make a tractor 10 to 15 feet better.
