Cool insight. I'm kind of surprised that some people would go through the work to put them back out in the field. I have to imagine a lot of them are sitting in sheds somewhere.

C18 is 1099 cubic inch iirc. Start getting into huge ships and they have some Goliath motors.

I've heard a Quad Range is good to 1000hp. I'm at about 450-500 and shift with absolutely no problem.

Just a suggestion that I haven't seen posted. Think about being a machinist. Everything from the chassis to the block, heads, turbos, pump. It's all machined. Obviously it won't be easy at all, but it's the biggest part of current truck and tractor pulling. Just something to think about.

I think in 2019 it changed, Tomah isn't a GN hook for Super Farms anymore, right? So it's basically just regional guys showing up for a chance to win there.

So you want to add 500lbs to the light pro's and have them run bigger tires?
I'm just not sure why people want Pro Stock to go away? Light Pro Stock already exists if you don't want to run the big cubes. Pro Stock is not an entry level class. If there is any class that should lose cubes, it's probably Super Farm.

So just watch the light pro class? Not a hard concept, both classes exist. I prefer the big pro class, numbers are still good in that class, why run it down?

Not trying to take anything away from Hunt, being GN Champ speaks for itself, but Maize's was almost never even a fight. That thing dominated the points race. Both are fantastic running machines. Like I said though, Livin A Dream is a sleeping giant in DSS. I'm really excited for the 2020 DSS class.

Congrats to them on the points championship, but best running Pro Stock right now has to go to the Maize family and the Billet Binder. What an amazing year they have had.
Watch out for Hunt's Livin A Dream DSS... DSS could be very interesting next year.

What if their block is recast? Do they have to announce that too? What about their turbo? Cylinder head? Not much, if any is green or red on these tractors unless you get into the lower HP classes.

They should be very proud! As a green guy, I couldn't care less what block or tin they are running and nobody else should either, the little bit I've seen on TV they seem like good people and they are having one hell of a year. In a class like that, everybody is making pretty big power, they have obviously worked hard on their set up and they are driving well. Congrats on a great year s

I'd like to know the numbers. NHRA and Motocross and other motorsports can make it a profitable gig. I think in tractor pulling part of the problem is there isn't much focus on the drivers. The other leagues create drama by creating rivalries and having fans pick a side and have a vested interest. You don't really see that in tractor pulling.

The best way to save DSS or any other class, is getting some advertising money. Any other motorsport with this kind of investment, generally comes with some advertising dollars. If we can get some money flowing back into our sport, that would be the best for everyone in my opinion.

I don't think the sport of tractor pulling has the leverage to start pushing guys away. Most classes you need all the hooks you can get.

Yep. It doesn't raise any red flags that a guy who lives 10 miles from Hutch, took his Super Stock to Texas instead? Like you said, NTPA should probably realize they aren't the only show anymore.

I think running them together is a pipe dream. If you limit the alcohol guys, they will be mad, and for good reason. If you leave it wide open, the diesel guys won't show up because they can't hang in there. I don't see how they can coexist.
I think in a perfect world, we would just run all the DSS together. Look at last night, you had your best running DSS split between Hutch a

Let's not be so quick to point the finger. Maybe some of these guys are tending to business? We know Lock-N-Load is waiting for parts. We know Bone Twister had breakage at Tomah. Oldens haven't made it out yet, but they have to drive half way across the country, maybe they're busy? Blagraves are busy and pulled outlaws this weekend. Shrameks pulled outlaws and so did Roger Peterson

Why does it say 0 for Rachner? Thought he went like 294.
Also, doesn't help that 3 of the best running DSS were in Texas tonight. DSS has plenty of flaws, but that is a class that needs to be together to put on a good show.

So how excited should everyone be to pay to watch 6 Semi's, 4-8 DSS's and probably 15ish Pro Stocks? It's too bad there isn't a 4.1 or SF class at Hutchinson. With the low numbers/breakage in DSS and Semi classes, it would be nice to have another diesel class.
