Re: The new NTPA 5. regional PS class. - 2 years ago

The R2 Pro class is supposed to get Pros like Soupline Express out of the barn and on the track. Is it the best way? I guess we'll see as long as some promoters take a chance on it

Re: Some indoor pulls - 2 years ago

the Gordyville building is for sale so I would bet that the pull will permanently be at Shipshewana

Re: The Pullers Championship 2023 Classes Revealed - 2 years ago

The difference between TPC and Norwalk PPL is that Norwalk actually had a decent show and had good vehicles on the grounds. I know I won’t be buying the TPC live stream next year. Plus I heard from a puller that was at TPC that the payout was worse then most events he goes to

LLSS on Pulloff does it again... - 2 years ago

So much for this thread being about adding LLSS to BG...off the rails about weight again. Didn't we just have the weight discussion on Monday?

Re: Canton, OH Sept 2-3 - 2 years ago

From a track crew volunteer, thank you to all of the pullers and fans that came out for the NTPA sessions and the Farm Stock/Antique pull. It was a great weekend and we are looking forward to next year for sure!

Re: Gambling at pulls - 2 years ago

I know a crew at BG that is $1 per class and they pick 1 for each class that session. Overall winner gets traveling trophy

Re: Sled Settings - 2 years ago

This is more of a broader statement about sled settings but there is a purple sled in Ohio that they almost always miss the setting and has to have a reset…and most of the time the sled is light

Re: Moving the cone - 2 years ago

Not sure what indoor garden tractor pulls you go to or what classes you watch but my class (Pro V-Twin and Pro Outlaw) the cone gets move almost every hook unless someone builds a road on a sideline

Moving the cone - 2 years ago

Has everyone forgot that the sled cone can be moved the entire width of the track? I've been to a bunch of pulls this summer and have watched an entire class where the cone was never moved...multiple times in the night. I'm sorry but I don't want to build a road for the guy behind me. I'd rather move it and learn then play follow the leader.

Re: Chapel Hill/Norwalk - 2 years ago

MAC Trailer sponsor damn near every major pulling organization...NTPA, PPL, OSTPA and countless events and brush pulls like Bunker Hill or his own pull down in Louisville back in March. I give Mike credit for sticking with pulling for so long (other rich guys get bored or run out of money) and I thank Mike a ton for all of his sponsorship money he gives out because it allows us to see the events

Re: World Series Of Pulling(Norwalk, Ohio) - 2 years ago

Tickets for Friday and Saturday are from gates open to gate closed (which is BS if you say could only make it to the night sessions)

BG North track - 3 years ago

The north track at BG has less run off, so the worry with Unlimited is not getting them stopped before they go 400ft and into the wall. There is no difference in quality of dirt between the two tracks.

Re: Pullers championship - 3 years ago

You would have the same problem in October as you do in May. The farmers need to farm. Either way I believe the turnout would be the same (other than not being the same weekend as the Sullivan pull)

Re: Cross-dressers - 3 years ago

No Rob’s engine came from Riverside and CP came from the Shipley shop and I believe the CP engine stayed with the tractor
