I would bet that a new turn key Pro stock would be double the price of a SF. The upkeep on the Pro-stock would also be double because you are pushing the heck out a motor at 680 cubes with a 5" charger at 2 x the hp of a SF with a 3" charger.

I don't have an answer other than getting cost down and or prize money way up. The East Coast series gets just about 10 tractors to hook and they include SS. Three families make up for most of the class- Martin, Moore and Hoyt. You take any of these away and the class is hurting big time. If you look at the Interstate series there are a lot more tractors in their classes but if you take out

We made it for Saturday and Saturday finals. Went smooth all day and night. Having the reserved seats was great. No waiting in a long - long line with people jumping line. Walked right in for the night finals. Adding the second food court in the pits with tables was great too. No glitches when we were there. Great pull and great time ! Thanks to ALL involved !

Got to Keystone Sat. day and finals. Was a great show. Loved the reserved seating as we didn't have any wait time to get into the night finals like we did a few years ago. Nice to have 2 food stands and tables in the pit area. Great job Keystone and pullers. Thanks !

Looking for Thursday eve. results. Can't find anything on the Eastern Extreme site. Wow is that site dead anymore. I can't believe they don't have any results posted.

This topic comes up on here every so often and I give my view. Number one you won't keep up with the 466 A-pump tractors red or green with the 404 and rotary pump. I remember injpumped was giving me pointers on a rotary pump build years ago. We ran a well built pump with a 404 on our 4320 for years. We could run a gear higher than any other 4320 that we ran against unless it was set up like

I've been to outdoor pulls where people leave blankets and all their stuff from day to night sessions without an issue. There was 3 hrs. in between sessions. Went to Keystone when it was general admission with no issues. Always told people next to us we would be back. I've not been back to Keystone since they went to reserved seats. If a blanket is on a seat I just go find another one w

Here we go it's winter time. You blew it with just one rule 3x3 turbo. What farm tractor ran that big of a turbo ? Heck it even takes the SF class to get to 3x3. No such thing as farm stock that I have seen in the last 10 years. Your rules do line up with what is called farm stock in our area of Pa..

Right on to the top 3 posters !!! Way too many classes for a novice or a seasoned fan to keep track of. Here in the East a Pro-farm class was put together as a new beginner class. Wow has that become a high dollar class too. I think here if you can buy/build a Super Farm without a cage that 's what you have do to run in the stock class to be competitive. Too bad.

Go 4440 w/A-pump and 466. Once you have that combo your wallet is the only limit. Lots of used pulling pumps for sale on here. I learned the hard way with a 4320. Can't compete anymore with a rotary pump and 404.

I have been involved in local pulling since 1976. We tried to organize a circuit years ago in Northeastern Pa. and Southern NY. but it never got off the ground.I fully understand what you are trying to do. Are you really trying to be cost effective and what does that mean to you. Once you go over 466 cubes to include 504 and 540 tractors you have lost the cost effective part. Now you have those w

Was my first time at Dansville and it was a good show. I've seen this club pull at Troy Pa. for years and they always start on time and put on a good show. Went to a local brush pull last night South/East of Troy and saw some EPS Super Farm guys from this area pull. Brent Naylor and Elwood Sickler matched up with two Mod. Turbos of Bill Davis and Marshall Watkins. Davis's tractor won w

I guess I have to be considered a key board puller because I no longer pull. I never did pull in organized pulling but spent a lot of time pulling farm stock/enhanced stock since the early 80's in Pa. and New York. I will never forget being at my first then called Super stock pull around 1975. I was hooked and have been a fan since then. I have seen East Coast, Interstate, NTPA, NYTPA, Empir

I know there are a lot of blue tractors in that class but a red one has been on top or near the top for a few years now. P-pump seems to be a dirty word any where in the Eastern region even at the brush pulling level. I think if red, green and all other colors had dealers that where involved in pulling like the Forrester's are for the blue ones it would be fantastic. Having that local suppor

I don't pull in any of these classes but a big fan. I would think it would be neat for pullers to give it a try at a test and tune session using both tire sizes on the same track with same sled. If you do let us know how it goes.

I also 100% agree ! I have seen some sleds stop a farm stock so quick I thought the driver was going to slam the steering wheel. no need for pan drop or diggers and would say up to 150 hp +. Most sled operators know the tractors from pull to pull. What throws everything out of whack is when a high Hp. tractor is seen in the lineup and operators know who they are. Pace eliminates both issues.
