Wow ! like said above I would like to see videos of this "Altered Farm Class". Your version of altered is way different than in our area. Sounds like you need a Pro-Stock and put smaller tires on it. One thing is for sure sounds like there isn't much to tech. Have fun !

I've run HyGuard in our hot farm because we still have a wet clutch. I know my friend uses synthetic since his tractor had his tranny weld up once. He is running way more hp than we are.

Fun to watch and great for your sport. I think I remember a TV morning person taking a ride on a Sf or pro stock here in the US. It would be neat to get a NHRA or NASCAR driver in the seat of a puller.

Jess what class and where ? We run a 466 hot farm with an A-pump at about 600cc with a cooler. Most classes here in Pa. are A-pump classes. I think if I was in a P-pump area that's what I would run . Less to deal with.

Any word on the Keystone Nationals and classes ? I haven't found anything on the Eastern Extreme page yet. They still have 2019 under the 2020 heading. I know it's early yet.

Can't wait. Hope the weather cooperates. It's a fun pull with lots of good iron. Our tractor needs a few more ponies to compete in the hot farm class but what the heck it's the last hook of the season. It'll be along time before we feed our addiction again. Withdrawal isn't fun. Hey Kris you got any Hoyt pulling stickers ? I need one for GK's pickup. He he.

Check out Wyoming County Fair website for the truck classes on Wed. night and Thursday. Thursday day tractor classes as listed. I'm still waiting for the final line up from the event coordinator for tractor classes Thursday night. They have changed from what's listed on the web and their fair book. I know there is an 11000 Open tractor class and would really like to get a lot of tractor

I'm not sure it would make pulling more expensive. I would think electric tuning would give pullers the opportunity it does in drag racing a chance to tune up or down to save an engine on a difficult track or put some more power in on a good track. The basic pulling tire evolves and pullers have been spending big dollars just to have the "best" tire. Pullers spent money very wisely buying da

Well said Jake. I've seen a Hot Stock puller that is doing some electronic tuning. It's going to be interesting to see how this tractor keeps developing HP. I truly think it's the new direction pulling should be going. Why is the pulling world so against it ?

We are having tranny issues with a wet clutch setup so if I were to do over it would be a dry clutch tractor. Can't beat a 6030. You can build power till the cows come home.

Yep. The first gear on the shaft and the shaft then it dropped parts down and took a tooth off the bottom gear.. Not positive on which broke 1st. If we can get something made it would still be less expense than a dry clutch setup I think. Maybe next time it gets a different setup. Sure is a job to change it. There was a 4430 with the picture of a buck on the side panel which used to pull at Hugh

Have 3/4 of our corn in which most was planted in April. Rain every few days. Ground is wet. I disked some river bottom this morning which was wetter than I like. Then the rain came again. Not much planted in this area and farmers wanted to start making baleage this weekend. That's not going to happen. Wetter here than last year. We made a pull last Sat. and might this Sat. if it doesn

The whole tractor pulling gig was a lot simpler when I started in 1976. You weren't paying $5000 for a turbo or pump. I was very lucky to find a very experienced mechanic to help me with my pump and setup. Today pulling has gone over the edge and every organized class is a high dollar class if you want to be a top 5 or even 10 tractor. I really like watching the "kids" pull so that's wh

Yep great show. And great to see an all green SF final LOL. That's got to be a first for the show. We were just wondering (which can be dangerous) why the smoke tube couldn't be 1/2 the diameter and it would be lighter to pull back and forth. Great job everyone ! Oh yea if you can't find the guy who won the Nut Case model garden tractor let us know. I pretty sure I know who would w
