looking at taking the complete rockshaft housing off my 706 and was wondering what all needs to go with it? also someone told me to take the hitch pump out and add a freeze plug in place of the tube going to the filter, is that correct or does that pump stay for any lubrication purpose of the diff components?
Any info or pictures would be greatly appreciated

We are looking for some insight. we have a "poor mans" 540 kit. we were running 466 crank, 407 rods with the 1.625 wrist pin, and what we believe to be a 1370 case piston cut and machined to. we had to bush the piston boss in the 1370 piston to fit the 1.625 wrist pin and we want to get away from that. what piston has a 1.625 wrist pin and a 4 5/8 bore that we could cut and use?
Thanks for any

I put two washers behind the spring in the priority valve. it bumped my pressures up to 220-225psi at 1500RPM with out applying the brakes or steering. when i apply the brakes and steering it then climbs to 240-245psi at 1500RPM. should i be worried about the pressures? i test drove it after i added the shims and checked the pressures and the TA locks in good. But i noticed that when the TA is in

I put a Hy Cap TA in my tractor and the factory pressures are 230-250psi. My tractor is running 230-232psi, this is when i am holding the steering all the way to the left and fully applying the brakes. when i am not holding the steering and the brakes, the pressures are 205psi (what should idle pressures be?). my lube pressure is 21psi which is good. My question is, how do i get my pressures up t

I have an 11mm model 100 that needs a new head and new plungers. I know that pump work isnt cheap, but who does a good job that wont kill my check book? also I had a guy tell me that he hasnt had much luck with 11mm pumps done by BK Diesel in dubuque IA, anyone have the same issue? We had a 13mm done by BK and it runs great, nothing bad to say about it.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

I have a Model 100 off a 1982 S1800 grain truck, i was wondering if anyone would know if its a 10mm or 11mm pump, or if they ever put 11mm pumps on those motors? The engine had a ton of power when it was in the truck. Also, is there a certain number or stamping on the pump ID plate to know if it would have a 10 or 11mm head?
Thanks for any information,

to 1466 puller, i pulled in the 9000lb farm stock. they didnt have a rule sheet and didnt tell me it was a na class. I didnt say anything on the sign up sheet about a non turbo class.
To 2290 puller, i didnt know it was their first year out the gate. so with that being said.... they should take this discussion and use it as constructive criticism.
