Part of the issue has been allowing big cubic inches in the classes with inline six's, lot of structural integrity in these blocks has been sacrificed to gain more cubic inches.
Either dial em back and decube, or the transistion must be made toward the original poster's recommendations with safety equipment for oem equipment and billet/recast blocks.

Hopefully Never. Why do you want to ruin this class? Pull the LSS if that's what you want. Leave the class alone.

Makes one wonder if some sort of turbo limit should have been put on the light pros. Costs on that class are beginning to accelerate rapidly.

I never understood why they made the limit 680. It takes a lot of money to get there!

It's all about the money. How many guys can afford to build a competive tractor in any of the 4 classes you mentioned. Limitations are hard to implement because those who have already bought the power aren't that eager to give it up.

Don't recall saying what the MX needed . Just was presenting an option that one could go a couple different ways with. However no reason she couldn"t compete in the NTPA light pro class with an updated fuel system and a bigger charger. The motor is there , good pistons, good sleeves decent rods, bottom end girdled, head work is done , valve train all good parts.
Anyway currently set up with

If you're gonna run superfarm with Region ll NTPA and expect to be competitive you're gonna have to spend some real money. Billet crank, deck plate ,latest injection pump from whomever at least 14ml plungers, puller 2000 tires, latest charger from Harts or whomever, etc. I think a top 5 or even a top 10 SF in Bowling Green ,Ohio would fetch all of 80,000 and a bit more.
I guess depends
